Chapter eight

The next few days went to training. Training like never before.

One of the days Zuzi punched hangman in the face. He had said something rotten to Rooster.

It was finally time for the mission. Today was the day Maverick announced who was going to go.

Fanboy and Payback. Phoenix and Bob.

"And your wingman?"

"Rooster."

It was final. She wasn't going on the mission. Fuck her.

Before any one got to go, everyone said there goodbyes to everyone.

A thought hit her. What if someone isn't going back?

They all went out and the pilots who had earlier been called up went to their planes.

"Rooster wait!"

He turned around.

"Rooster, i have to tell you something."

He nodded. "I'm in love with you. I have been since the day i first met you. It just got stronger after i stole your car." she laughed.

"after we were at the beach."

Zuzi chung for the first time, stood there end exposed all her feelings for a man who was going on a suicide mission.

Rooster, who in fact could not believe how lucky he was. What was the coincidence that the girl he was in love with was here now, telling him all about it.

He was about to answer but unfortunately he got stopped by a voice.

"Rooster! Why aren't you in your jet?" Admiral simpson yelled from far away.

"Go, we will talk after you come home!" Zuzi told him and proceeded to push him towards his plane.

Rooster looked at Zuzi one last time before closing the lit.

It was time.

She sat listening on the radio.

First miracle number one happened. Now it was time for miracle number to.

"YES!" she cheered. But now it was onto the maybe a bit more dangerous part.

She didn't hear much but suddenly Maverick sacrificed himself. There was yelling around the base. Everything was chaos.

It didn't help that Rooster went after him.

Her dad and her possibly love of her life. Both dead.

She heard a lot of noice outside.

There Hangman's plane was landing. He wasn't going on the mission? But she saw another plane going for landing.

Zuzi thought, could it be? No.

As soon as the plane landed and moth Maverick and rooster walked out of it, everyone went to cheers. Hangman had saved them.

Zuzi most have been stuck in her thoughts for quite some time.

As soon as Rooster saw her he went up to her and kissed her hard. Everyone cheered, again.

"i'm in love with you to Zuzi chung!" "good because if not it would have been very awkward."

When they were done she looked over to Maverick.

He walked over to her and hugged her.

"i'm sorry." that was all that had to be said. She didn't want to be mad at him. It wasn't really his fault.

Everyone calmed down after some time. She needed to don't hangman.

"Thank you." she hugged him.

Zuzi chung hugged hangman.

That night Zuzi and Rooster went home together. And it was definitely not the last time.
