Chapter seven

When she got the message to meet at the beach for a fun day she was relieved.

Dog fight football. This one she was all in for.

Once the teams were set up they started playing. She got passed the ball and ran like never before. She got the ball over the line and jumped in the air.

Rooster adored her. If she walked in to the room, that was were his attention were. But he knew Zuzi was still mad at her for what he said and she had all right to.

They continued to play and after a while everyone lost count.

Everyone walked in to the bar after Bob did the last point and everyone lifter him into the air.

Zuzi got tired and walked down to the shore, Rooster noticed and walked after her.

"I'm sorry." he started. "It wasn't fair of me to say that to you and i shouldn't have taken my anger out on you."

Zuzi looked up at him. "No, it's ok. I understand, i shouldn't have gone after you."

Rooster couldn't help but feel at bit hurt by her last comment. But she shouldn't have.

His next action threw her off guard. He lifter her over his shoulder and ran out in the water with her screaming.

He threw her in the water and jumped in after her.

"You bitch!" She yelled while laughing at him. Soon they were both laughing so much they had cramps in the stomach.

They sped an hour splashing around in the water. Having fun.

Zuzi had to be honest, this was the most fun she had in a while except from when she was in the air of course.

Rooster suddenly pulled her close to him. He starred her in the eyes, she did too.

Their moment got interrupted by cheering from the pool table inside the bar.

When they walked up the beach to their cars.

Zuzi thought it was time to get up from the water.

"I'm glad i've got to know you Bradley Bradshaw." Zuzi said before stepping in her car.

He smiled to himself. "I'm glad to have gotten to know you too Zuzi Chung."

"I have to tell you something. I think Maverick is my father. I'm not really sure about anything and it's kinda messed up i know. A-an-"

"What?" He interrupted her. "Are you mad?" He stayed silent. She started walking away.

"I'm not mad, just shocked okay. When did you find out and does he know?" He needed to know.

"He knows but i haven't talked to him. I don't know if i will. He'll go somewhere after the mission is over and same with me. I found out yesterday. I-i don't know what to do."

Zuzi had tears in her eyes. He noticed. Rooster wrapped his arms around her slowly. They stood there for a while.

Maverick, who had been sitting in the bar, talking to Penny walked out to the door. The man didn't expect to see his daughter and his godson hugging each other. While she was crying.

He had to talk to her one of these days. They couldn't end it like this before the mission.

after a while of standing there they said their goodbyes and left.
