Hahaha, it's so obvious that dude and Charlie is talking about me... But why would Charlie want to unlock me if I've literally just met him 15 minutes ago... And did he really think he could? Because in order to "unlock" someone, they have to be your...
"SOULMATES!" Mr Jeffer says loudly. The whole class jumps and looks at the Anatomy teacher.
"There. Now that I have your attention, I can finish. Soulmates... Do they exist?" Me Jeffer asks. The whole class nods as if this were first grade.
"Good. And how do we know they exist... Diana?" Mr Jeffer asks a girl with straight, long black hair, glasses, and freckles. She spoke immediately when he calls on her.
"We know soulmates exist because of Keylockology. If a key does not unlock a lock, then the relationship is not meant to be." Diana says with utter confidence and extreme intellect. She's very pretty and she seems nice.
"Very good. And what if, for example... Two men are soulmates. What happens then... Trevor?" Mr Jeffer turns to the boy Charlie was talking to. Trevor looks less confident and a little embarrassed.
"Umm... Uhh..." Trevor starts.
"Do you not know Trevor?" The teacher asks.
"Oh no I do... Umm... Well, each male has a lock up their bu..." Trevor stops himself when Charlie nudged him violently.
"Oh! Um, each male has a lock just in front of their rectum, but it's like infused into the skin so it doesn't interfere with human waste. So when a male and another male are trying to unlock, if they are soul mates, they would try to find it there." Trevor says with a little more confidence than before. You could tell Charlie has been tutoring him. Hm, funny and smart. So far so good.
"Nicely done Trevor. Now what about two females? Hmm I'll pick... The new girl. Amanda, what happens when there are two female soul mates who try to unlock?" Mr Jeffer says to me, beady hazel eyes staring at me. Sweat races down my face.
"Well um... It's very complicated." I begin.
"You see uh... If they are soul mates, and their locks got close to one another, one of the locks, usually the dominate female's lock would open to reveal a key that would unlock the other. This does not necessarily mean all girls are technically boys, as the key only forms and comes out around the soulmate" I say, stuttering in between words and fumbling with my hands.
"Nicely done Amanda! Usually it's a hard thing to explain, but that was perfect." Me Jeffer says with a smile. Okay that's awkward. He has like five teeth... After a lifetime of droning voices and endless note taking, the bell finally rings. I pack up my things and start to walk toward Diana. She seems really nice and I want to meet her.
"Hi, I'm Amanda. You seem really nice and cool and was wondering if we could be friends." I say with a confident smile. Diana looks around.
"Are you um, talking to me?" Diana asks hesitantly. I nod.
"Yes, is that okay with you?" I ask.
"Um, of course but I don't really have many friends so, I won't be your best shot at being popular." She says looking down at the ground. She has emerald green eyes like Charlie, but the similarities stop there. She had pale white skin, black long hair, and huge glasses. She's also very short with freckles and absolutely the opposite of Charlie, yet I find them both attractive.
"Pff, I don't really care about being popular. I just need some friends to hang out with." I say. Diana looks a little more hesitant, looks at me, and her eyes sparkle.
"Sure lets be friends."
