Hello guys! I'm back!
I'm so sorry for not updating for so long without informing you guys.
It was my first semester in college, so I was taking my time to get used to college, so I didn't have time to update, and I also had a writing block, so I couldn't think of the next storyline very easily...If you guys don't remember the previous chapters, you can go read them!
I also had to reread them for me to start writing again LOL
Also I noticed that I accidentally started off with Chapter 19 when I had to write Chapter 18.
Sorry if anyone was confused. None of the chapters are deleted, it's just my mistake!---------------
[Wave's Perspective]
"Wavey~" P'Kit said as he ran towards me. "Why did you come so late? I was waiting for you~"
"Sorry P'Kit," I replied.
"Next time come earlier!" P'Kit whined. "I want to sit next to someone that appreciates me."
After saying that sentence P'Kit gave a glare towards P'Ming. At first I was planning on pushing P'Kit off of me because the interaction between me and P'Kit were catching the attention of the other students, but after realizing that P'Kit was being clingly because for some reason he had an argument with P'Ming, I couldn't get myself to push him away.
"Did you fight with P'Ming?" I asked quietly while I got a seat and sat down.
"He's the one at fault," P'Kit said while pouting.
"P'Kit~" P'Ming said as he sat next to P'Kit. "Don't be mad~ I promise I won't do it again!"
When P'Kit heard the words of P'Ming, he gave a glare towards him, which made P'Ming sit quietly and pout slightly as he kept on checking on P'Kit to probably find a better timing to make up with him. Honestly, the whole situation was very uncomfortable. Only a very stupid person would not have been able to notice the tension that was going on between P'Ming and P'Kit, and I was stuck right in the middle of it because P'Kit was clinging onto me, which made everyone put their attention on me too. I could notice a few eyes that were begging for me to somehow make them stop fighting, but I didn't know how to do something like that.
"Wavey~" P'Kit said as he clung onto my arm. "Are you free today after the meeting? If you have nothing to do, do you want to go out with me? It's been a long time since we hung out together. It would be nice to hang out with you. With just the two of us."
I could feel the daggers in the words that P'Kit was saying. While he did mean everything he was saying towards me, I knew that most of the words were directed at P'Ming. I knew that P'Kit would have asked me to go somewhere with him eventually, but I didn't know it would happen like this. I looked back and forth from P'Kit to P'Ming not sure what to say.
"I... uh..." I stuttered.
"Wave has somewhere to go with me, P'Kit," Traffic said, cutting into the conversation.
"Huh?" P'Kit said. "Where are you going? I could go with you!"
I saw a small evil smile on Traffic face, realizing what he might say I gave a short glare of warning towards him.
Seeing the expression on my face, Traffic gave a small smirk towards me then completely turned his face towards me, and with a big smile he said, "We're going on a date, P'Kit."
Everyone's eyes became big by the sentence Traffic had said, and even the people who were not giving much attention towards our conversation earlier turned their heads towards us to listen carefully. I gave a strong death glare towards Traffic who was still smiling big and only looking at me.
"I never agreed-," I said in a cold tone, not wanting people to take interest in me.
"I'm hitting on him, P'Kit," Traffic said, cutting me off while staring at me. "I hope you understand that I want to stay with him alone."
"Oh..." P'Kit said, a bit in awe. "You should have told me Wavey. I would have stepped away for you."
It wasn't that I was ashamed that I was going out with Traffic, but I didn't want everyone's attention to be focused on me more than it currently was. I knew for a fact Traffic knew that I didn't like being the center of attention in these types of situations that related my personal manners, but I also knew that he was trying to tease me. I took a deep breathe to calm down, knowing that if I try to speak in more the situation would grow larger.
"It's okay Wave," P'Kit said with a smile, seeing that I had an uneasy expression on my face. "You should go hang out with Nong Traffic. Take care of him for me. If you make him cry, I will come for you."
P'Kit gave Traffic a stern glare of warning that if he hurts his favorite nong he will come to kill him.
Traffic gave a big smile of re-assurance towards P'Kit and said, "Don't worry P'Kit. I will take of Wave as well as I can. Well till where I can take care of him. He is really stubborn you know."
"Yeah," P'Kit replied with a chuckle. "He sure is."
"Stop," I said sternly, wanting to stop this conversation.
"I agree," P'Pha said with a smirk. "As much as this conversation is very intriguing, we need to get to work. We still have a lot to do. You guys can figure out what you guys are going to do after everything is planned out."
Despite being thankful for P'Pha moving everyone's attention towards him and to the mission, I couldn't help myself to feel embarrassed and notice that there was still some people giving me and Traffic some teasing looks towards our way. Especially P'Kit started to send some looks of curiosity. While I pretended to not care, I couldn't help but be affected by most people's attention being put onto me.
"We have been getting closer and closer to the target," P'Pha said slowly. "Thanks to Nong Wave we were able to get some extra information about the reasons why they are doing these kidnappings. Nong Wayo can you put the information on the screen?"
P'Wayo gave a short nod to P'Pha and quickly turned the screen on to show information I have copied the other day during our mission to save P'Earth. I didn't really have the time to check all of the information when I was copying and after the mission, so the information on the screen was also very surprising to me. On the screen showed someone's extensive research about the gifted cells and why only certain people would get activated by the recording, and if it is genetic or not. There were also some data that was collected, which seemed like it was collected after experiments were done on gifted students.
"As you can see these people have been researching and experimenting on gifted students," P'Pha explained. "It seems like they wanted to understand the gifted cells, and see if they could further develop, copy, and control them. Some of the research data shows that these people had the idea of also trying to make some of the gifted students into puppets, so they could use them like soldiers."
Everyone one was shocked by the information they were seeing. The idea that someone was trying to make an army of gifted people was terrifying as no one could imagine what the future would hold if someone was actually able to succeed in doing it.
"I know this sounds terrifying," P'Pha stated. "This is why we have to stop this before this research is able to be developed further."
"Wait..." Namtarn said, stopping P'Pha's words. "Isn't that name very familiar...?"
Everyone's eyes moved towards the name that Namtarn was pointing at, and indeed the name was very familiar to all of the gifted class students.
"Director Supot..." all the gifted students said at once.
The headmaster of Ritdha High School. The name that they saw very often was on the research documents.
"You guys know this person?" P'Ming asked in curiosity.
"Yes..." Namtarn replied slowly. "He's our school's headmaster..."
