𝑲𝑬𝑵𝑫𝑨𝑳𝑳

𝐃𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝, 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟. Jer and I actually had a really nice dinner with Susannah and we had just finished salads when Belly came through the front door in tears. 

She looked at me and said, "You were right." Then she proceeded to sprint up to her room. 

Susannah looked at me and I shrugged, "Not really sure." Obviously I knew what she meant, but my initial fear when she walked through that door came true.

"Why don't you two go see what's wrong," Susannah said and Jer went to say something. 

I kicked him under the table, "Yeah we can do that. C'mon Jer." We both stood up and his hand almost immediately found mine as we went upstairs.

"We're really doing this," he whispered and I shrugged.

"Guess so," I replied with a sigh.

"Let's just go to my room, it's right here," Jer added and tugged on my hand a little with a grin that made me laugh as I pulled him back to her room. 

I knocked on the door and heard a, "What do you want."

"Susannah wanted us to check on you," I replied and I heard a sigh.

"He broke up with me. Just leave me alone," she said and I looked up at Jer. He shrugged and we went to his room to sit on the bed for a minute.

"Did I leave my blue hoodie here," I asked from the bed and Jer nodded. 

"Yeah I wore it yesterday, here babe," Jer said and tossed it at me before finishing his sentence so that it hit me in the face.

I laughed and waited till he was on the bed to jump on top of him. He laughed and somehow managed to flip us so I was under him.

"Cute," was all he said before kissing me. 

We made out for a few minutes until I broke it, "We gotta go back to your mom J."

"Yeah yeah, you're right," Jeremiah replied and we got up and went back downstairs.

"Oh there you guys are. What's going on," Susannah asked as we sat down at the table. 

"Her and Con broke up," I replied and she frowned.

"Oh no, is he in love with Nicole," she asked with an understanding face.

"Yeah," I answered and she made a blank face.

"Well that's disappointing for Belly's sake, but I do love Nicole. She was so good to him and so sweet," Susannah said with what I swear was relief in her eyes.

"I'm not all that sure Nicole will go back though. Con really messed up," I said and she nodded.

"Yeah he really needs to get it together," she said while shooting daggers at Jeremiah. I muffled a laugh and Susannah flickered her eyes to me with a sly smile.

"He does," Jer agreed, looking at me and interlocking our hands under the table. I squeezed his hand to reassure him and kept the conversation going while we finished our dinner.

After we finished eating the three of us sat on the couch to start a movie. We started watching breakfast club with me laying across Susannah and Jer. My head was on Jer's chest and my legs had been curled up. Somehow Susannah managed to convince me it would be okay to put my legs across her so I'd be more comfortable.
