𝐖𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐒 ¹ || 𝒋𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒂𝒉 𝒇𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒓

𝑲𝑬𝑵𝑫𝑨𝑳𝑳

𝐖𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬. Conrad, Nicole, Cam Cameron, Steven, and I are all sitting by the pool waiting for Jeremiah and Belly. They had gone out earlier to get muffins and must've gotten side tracked because they're nowhere to be found. 

The seven of us were supposed to meet up and leave by 12 to go to lunch and a beach about 20 minutes away. It's currently 12:15 and our reservations are at 12:25.

"I'll call the restaurant I guess," Conrad said and nobody argued as he pulled out his phone. 

"Ken do you wanna go to the farmers market tomorrow? That really good tamale place is supposed to be there," Nicole said from the lounge chair next to me.

"Yes please. I also really want one of those handmade bracelets with the crystals," I replied and her eyes lit up.

"The ones with the little circle things," she drew it on her wrist to show what she meant and I laughed and nodded, "I was eyeing those last time I went but had to go. We should get matching ones."

"Yeah I'm so down. The blue one-," I was interrupted by Conrad's voice.

"There's no room after 12:25 so that's off," he said and we all sighed.

"Let's just go now have them meet us," Nicole offered and I shook my head.

"We all have to be there to be seated," I objected and she sighed.

"Well what now," Steven asked and I shrugged.

"Could just go to Sunny's and come back," I offered and everyone agreed. Sunny's is a cafe that is frequented by all of us in downtown Cousins. They serve breakfast until 3 and the breakfast burritos are hands down the best breakfast burritos to exist. 

Around 12:30 Belly and Jeremiah came bursting through the pool deck doors already ranting apologies. 

"Save it, we're going to Sunny's. Are you going or are you gonna run around 'till 3:05 and make us miss breakfast too," Conrad said and they cringed.

"I'll stay," Belly said and Cam Cameron said he'd stay with her. I swear she was avoiding eye contact with me and Nicole, but maybe I'm just imagining things.

"Alright then let's go, we fit in one car now," Conrad said with fake enthusiasm and Nicole and I laughed. 

I didn't really want to sit next to Jere at the moment and I think Nicole noticed because Conrad was in the drivers seat, but she sat in the back middle next to Steven and told me to get in. I did and just texted her the whole somewhat awkward car ride. The whole way there, Conrad was purposefully not talking to Jere which I'll admit was kinda funny but I still felt bad and eventually told him to stop.
