"Hi papa." I said and my dad's pale face instantly lit up. The chemo isn't a good look on him but the doctor said that the cancer is almost completely gone.

"Pumpkin." He said so I hugged him as tightly as I could.

"Hey, Papa. I wanna introduce you to Luciano and Dario. The men I told you about." I told my dad and he chuckled lightly.

"Ah yes." My dad said before looking up at them.

"Dario is the nice one and Luciano is the guy you don't want to mess with, right mija?" My dad asked and I giggled.

"Actually they're more similar than I thought." I said and they greeted my dad.

"Sir I just want to tell you that you raised an incredible woman." Rio said. "It's nice to finally meet you." He said kindly and my dad just nodded.

"I agree with my brother and we'll do everything in our power to protect her." Luciano said seriously. "And everyone she cares about. That is if we have your blessing, sir." Luciano said slowly.

"You'll have my blessing once my daughter turns twenty one. Ask me again in two weeks." My dad said blankly and both of the twins clenched their jaws.

"Of course sir." Rio said stiffly.

"And until then my daughter comes home. She lives with me until she's of legal age in this country. After her birthday she can decide where she wants to live." My dad said and Luciano balled his fists.

"Sounds fair dad." I said and Luciano gently grabbed my wrist while looking deeply into my eyes.

"I love living with you guys, but my dad's right." I told him before pecking his lips. I pecked Dario's lips for being so calm and he pulled me into a hug from behind.

"Get out of my room when you're doing that." My dad said and we chuckled at him.

"Listen sons I'm not saying these things to be rude, I just don't want my Paige to get hurt. And I do trust that you'll do anything to protect her so rest assured that we're on the same side." My dad said so I hugged him tightly. After that he fell into a deep conversation with the twins about his days in the Navy.

We all sat around his bed while listening to him. When my dad tells a story you have no other choice but to listen. He's funny, intriguing and straight to point all at the same time. You can't get bored by him.

I like how well he gets along with Luciano and Dario. If they're gonna be a part of my life they have to get along with my dad. Otherwise- I smiled when my dad fell asleep in the middle of Luciano's sentence.
