<><>Dr. Sanchez’s POV<><> (Didn’t see that coming, Did ya?)

My assistants wheeled Willa into the room where we were performing surgery. I was completely exhausted and depressed. I had stayed up all night (pun intended) helping a four year old girl with Leukemia. I was performing surgery and I-I-Isortakindainsomewayoranothermighthavekilledher. Ya.  I felt horrible. I told the mother, and she broke down in hysterical tears.

Being a doctor is way too much pressure. One day you are saving lives, and the next you could easily be taking a life. The anesthesiologist stuck the needle in her, something I’ve seen a bazillion times, and she closed her eyes. That was my cue.  I grabbed my various pointy things, and got to work.

<><>When Surgery Is Almost Over<><>

I was just about to remove the tumor, when I remembered this morning. Her line flattened. I almost saved her, and in a split second, she was dead. Done for.  Because of me, her life had an early curfew.

I thought I was in the flashback when I heard that beeping. Then I realized I wasn’t really controlling my hands and I heard screaming. OH MY GOSH. I just cut her Phrenic Nerve, a nerve essential to life. Way to go genius. You just killed two people in one day.

My hands started doing things without me telling them to. They grabbed the closest thing to them, which happened to be shockers, and set them on Willa’s body. I pressed the on button, but it did nothing. The beeping, flat-lining, and screaming continued.

I saw the teenager who came here with her, standing at the door dumbfounded.

<><>Liam’s POV<><>

My angel was dying. She was gone.  Her line was flat. She was gone.

While I was thinking this, I didn’t realize that a doctor was carrying me and I was crying silent tears.  I was set down in a chair, and I cried for about thirty minutes straight.

When I finally got myself together, somewhat that is, I saw the others were crying too. “WW-Why are w-w-we cr-ying?” sniffled out Coco. “Sh-she m-might not b-be dead.” She was almost always optimistic, though sometimes bipolar.

But, Coco was right!! The doctor didn't guarantee she was dead, so she might not be. This realization hit everyone else too, and we sat there impatiently for the doctor to give us the final say.

<><>Willa POV<><>

I was going towards the light. Wait! You're supposed to not got to the light!! I tried to go the other direction, but the force was strong. Too strong. It reminded me of the shrimp swimming away from the whale in Nemo, saying, "Swim away!"

I was pulled into a land full of clouds. It was so bright I had to squint my eyes to see anything. Of course, I still couldn't see anything, but I did finally adjust to the light. What I saw amazed me.

I saw people with wings. You heard me! WINGS!! But what really amazed me was the girl. She looked to be about four, and was in a hospital gown as well. I just wanted to wake up from this dream, because this girl was tearing up my heart. She was bald, like me, frail, and looked like she had all of the energy sucked out of her.

"You aren't going to wake up," she said. Did I say that out loud? Oops.

"What do you mean, Hun?" I asked the adorable girl.

"Your in heaven," she said.

WHAT!!! Wait, this is just a little girl. Little girls say crazy things. I am not dead, just having surgery.

"Please come with me," said a random person, also with wings. I decided to listen, and he lead me too a gigantic house. In it was a young guy without wings that looked like he came out of a bible.

"Hello, Willa," said the guy with a really cool beard.

"How do you know my name?" I question.

"I know everything. I'm Jesus," he says.

I start screaming. I died. I died. I died. I am in heaven. I am in heaven. I am in heaven. I am standing next to Jesus. I am standing next to Jesus. I am standing next to Jesus. Whoa.

"You will not be here for long, though," he says.

"Why?" I ask.

"You have not fulfilled your life's goal," he replies.

"What about her?" I ask, pointing to the little girl playing on the clouds.

"Well, a guy down there is thinking about killing himself if you don't return," he says. "That helps your chances. Not to mention, some of us aren't as lucky as you.

I had so many questions I needed answered, but I decided not to question Jesus. After all, he knows all. Instead, I played hop-scotch with the little girl, who introduced herself as Mia.

Then, it was time for me to go. I went down the hole from which I came, and found myself in a cold hospital bed.

I was back.

A/N:

I'm sorry that this is kind of religion specific, but I don't know any other religions' ideas of the after life.
