"BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!" goes my alarm clock. "Oh shoot!" I think. I had pushed the snooze button twice already. I jump out of bed, slip on my pink skinny jeans, my blue Angry Birds tee, and my gray lace-up back Uggs. I stuffed a waffle in my mouth and drove to school in my yellow slug bug convertable.
As soon as I sat down in my seat, the bell rang. I took in a breath and opened my vocab book. As you can tell, I'm not the most popular person in the world. I'm not a nerd or anything, but I'm not a perfect. I have popular friends and I am the star outside hitter for the DCHS Huskies Varsity team.
In fact, we just have to beat Valor and then we go to nationals. If we beat all the other state representatives, we go to worlds. We are super good, so it's almost a garuntee.
The bell rings, and I'm off to biology. I sit next to me best friend ever, Skyler. Skyler is also the the head Huskies cheerleader. "OMG!!!!!" she nearly screams.
"What?' I ask.
"One Direction is staying in Colorado!" She exclaims.
"OMG!!!!!" I scream.
"Ladies! This is a biology class, not a gosip club." says our teacher, Mrs. Kirkland.
When I'm not spiking, I'm a total directioner. I know everything about them. This news is so amazing, I forget about the Valor game. "OMG!!!! Will they be here in Castle Rock? Will Liam be there? Will I meet Liam? I can hardly think the whole day. Finally, at lunch I get some answers.
At our table is Skyler, Coco, Ellie, and Sabrina. Coco is my setter, Ellie is the libero, and Sabrina, AKA The Brick Wall, is right blocker. We are all absolutely freaking out while Skyler tells us more.
"One Direction is coming here looking for a place to build their mansion. They are also doing a concert and will, sadly, be staying in a hotel in Denver, absolutely covered in security guards."
We are all so sad we won't meet One Direction. We all love one of the members. Skyler loves Zayn, Coco loves Niall, Ellie loves Louis, Sabrina loves Harry, and I love Liam. But, It's not like they would like us, so we spent the rest of the day silently.
I went to the local recenter to spike and work out. Running had always helped me get my mind off problems. I ran so fast, I had to sit down and close my eyes.
When I opened my eyes, I saw a pair of dreamy brown eyes staring into mine. Then I heard a voice say, "Are you alright love?"
