When the alarm finally went off, malamya kong inangat ang katawan para maupo.
Should I go to school today? Was my meeting with the other college officers this afternoon?
I knew this would happen. But I did it, anyway. And now that I finally cooled down, I didn't think I even deserved to be seen anywhere but here.
For fuck's sake, Iñara, what were you trying to prove? You could have just left and be mature! Because you know the guy! But you didn't and even stooped so low!
Now how should you face him?
"Anong ginagawa mo?" Faye asked behind me.
"W-wala. Just checking," I replied as I looked from left to right while hiding behind a wall.
No signs of Markus yet, as I expected. But, of course, I couldn't be so sure.
"You're so weird today," Faye said. "Sino bang pinagtataguan mo?"
"Where? He's here?"
Faye looked so done with me, as if I was a rat she caught in a trap.
"So, that guy . . ." She crossed her arms and watched at me like she knew why I was acting like this.
"T-tara na nga!" And I grabbed her arm, taking her with me.
I wouldn't know how to tell her I kissed Markus becaused I wanted to prove I wouldn't feel anything.
I nodded and we went out of the restroom.
It was our PE Day and we were to play volleyball. We had our lectures in the past weeks and this was our time for the actual performance. I played volleyball when I was young so this wasn't as hard for me. If I wasn't stupid yesterday, I would be extremely excited for this
Some of our classmates saw us and they immediately waved for us to walk quickly. Most of them wanted to be my teammate so they were extraordinarily nice.
After some reminders and other stuff, we were divided. When Fortune's team spiked, I excitedly stood up with the others and cheered. Faye followed after as she hugged my other arm.
