He wanted my attention so much so he kept annoying me? What a load of crap.

Pinilas ko ang pahinang sinusulatan at gigil na inilakumos iyon sa loob ng kamao. It must have startled my classmates' concentration that they synchronically took glance of me. But I didn't care enough. I was royally pissed!

It had been days since that asshole confessed his liking in annoying me for attention. Until now, I couldn't grasp even the tip of the iceberg. He was funny, I'd give him that. Tumawa ako nang tumawa pagkabalik sa tinutuluyan ko.

Yes, Markus had been a snake. At first, I convinced myself that everything was just coincidences. Nagkataon lang na isa ang nagustuhan naming babae at siya ang pinili o ipinalit sa akin. Why would he be a snake, right? That would be absurd!

But as the incidents kept on happening as time passed by, I couldn't fool myself anymore. He was doing it on purpose. And I had finally confirmed it.

I knew he was an asshole but I didn't expect him to be this asshole.

Ano bang nakukuha niya sa tuwing inaagawan niya ako? Did he like the idea of my heart breaking? Did he want to prove to me that he was better than me because he got penis and all shits of a male anatomy?

Ang babaw-babaw niya.

"Ara, 'yong cell phone mo."

Ibinaling ko ang atensyon sa itinutukoy ng kaklase ko. My shoulders tensed when I saw who was the caller.

What did she want now? I thought she had stopped bothering me already.

"Okay ka lang? Kanina ka pa mukhang galit," concerned na tanong sa akin ng isa sa mga kasama ko.

Ngumiti ako at in-end ang tawag. "I'm fine. Medyo badtrip lang."

"Badtrip ka? Kanino?"

Muli akong ngumiti at umiling-iling saka binalingan muli ang ginagawang floor plan.

"Mukhang seryoso, ah. Bihira ka pa man ding magalit."

Mahina akong tumawa.

Dahil maraming tao sa library, napili naming ipagpatuloy ang paggawa ng plates sa printing shop malapit sa college namin. It was a good choice as we were friends with the owners and they had long tables to accommodate our materials. Hindi rin kulob ang lugar kaya malaya ang hanging maglabas-masok.

I hoped I would finish this task today. Whoever told me this program was easy, I hoped he was choking in his food right now. Nakailang gawa na ako ng plates sa bahay at hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa ako kuntento.

Dapat yata hindi na ako nangarap maging civil engineer.

"Ara."

Pagod na nilingon kong muli ang kaklase kong iyon. Tahimik niyang itinuro ang nagba-vibrate kong cell phone sa bulsa. I apologetically smiled and rejected the call once again.

Buwisit na babaeng ito.

Adelle had been bugging me lately. Hindi niya yata matanggap na kayang-kaya ko siyang iwan sa ere. I heard she and Markus didn't hit it off as I expected. Tapos ngayon, nilalandi na naman ako. Gagawin pa yata akong rebound o ano.

Isa ring gaga.

Of course, I knew my worth. She made her choice and this was the repercussion. She should have known it better that I wasn't the type to stay when someone was driving me away.

I wasn't sure why she was doing this. But I didn't want any connection with her anymore. Sana lang ay matanggap niya na iyon.

"Bibili ako ng softdrink. May magpapasabay ba?" I announced after I stood up.
