Was I hard on him?
After all he did to me, why was he reacting like I did him dirty? I had always prided myself that I had the longest patience. Kaya kapag nagalit ako at nagtagal iyon, meron akong basehan.
He must be crazy to think I would be cool after he stole my girls, especially with that reason of his.
It was the start of the Foundation Week and everyone was busy. As the event was a concerted effort, I always had to be available all the time.
Seriously, I couldn’t believe that guy.
After almost half an hour of studying the papers, I decided to take a break and probably have a ten-minute nap. I would eat after I woke up.
I was about to doze off when soft knocks disturbed the room.
He took off his cap and put the paperbag before me.
“Eat up, Miss President.”
Why was he doing this? “Yeah, thanks. What are these?”
“Nothing. Just your favorites.
Nagdududang tinitigan ko siya.
He was plotting something. I couldn’t let my guard down.
“Kumain ka na?” I asked him as I started to bring out the food.
Umiling-iling siya.
He was now seated before me. I couldn’t act properly because I was damn conscious. He never once tore his eyes from me like every move I was making mattered to him.
Putang ina.
“And you brought me all of these?”
Ngumisi siya. “If you’re so upset, why don’t you feed me?”
