Ello my fellow readers who are most likely from Obahar_'s story!
As you can see, I have an update to give y'all!
This update is a continuation of the last update's idea, which is the whole timelines version. I have been going back and forth with the idea, and I'm still considering on doing it or not. But I forgot to ask this of y'all.
Would y'all like for this story to be lore friendly to Obahar_'s story's "Hu Tao x Reader - A Morbid Curiosity" and "Inazuma x Reader - Lost to Eternity"? Or if I do the timeline thing, have this be a separate timeline.
I'm asking this because I know that most of you came from Obahar_'s account, and might be thinking (consciously or not) that this story is lore friendly to the Hu Tao book after Chapter 31, and the events of the Inazuma book.
And this is just a personal thing, but if I were to see somebody continue a story like this from someone else, I would hope that they are making it lore friendly to the original story, because that's why I read it in the first place.
However, if I do end up doing this, guess what will happen.

This is because if I want to stay lore friendly (which I'm trying to do already), then some ideas I have planned may not work out in the end. For example, lets say that in THIS story, I have Aether stay in Liyue for about a month, but if Oba then writes it that Aether was in Liyue for only 3 weeks, then I KNOW I'm gonna go back and try to fix it.
And this is just a small example, but this can go on for many other examples.
Oba did say in our private DM's that I can take this story however I want it to go, and to think of it as a separate timeline than the Hu Tao book and the Inazuma book. But, and this is just who I am, I want to stay lore friendly.
Of course, if I do end up doing the timeline thing, than this whole update is really not important cuz I'll just make another timeline that is lore friendly. But if I don't, then I will most likely make Loss be the lore friendly timeline, and I would need to wait for Oba to publish either most or the entire Inazuma book, so I know what I can write and my restrictions to stay lore friendly.
Again, this is just something I want to ask of y'all. Which would you prefer in either scenario?
If I DO make multiple timelines, then this post isn't that important.
If I DON'T make multiple timelines, then would y'all prefer if I make this lore friendly to the other two books, or have this be my own take on the story and take it how I wish.
