"Liam! You home?" Jack calls as he nudges the door open with his foot. I ear a thumping on the stairs and Liam appears with a beautiful young girl:

"Jack, you've already met Poppy. We were only friends when you first met her but now we're dating. Poppy this is my sister Lottie" I wave and she smiles at me waving back. "How was work Jack? Was this one good?" Jack chuckles and I stick out my tounge at Liam who does it back. "Stop it you two. Work was great. According to Grace, she slept for the majority of it, " he replies. "Aww. Well, I thought it'd be nice to order some McDonald's for tea. It should be arriving any second." Jack sighs and I smile. "Shall we go into the living room?"
In the living room, I sit next to Jack leaning against his arm. He glances down at me, and on seeing that I'm settled, turns the telly on. "So how long have you had Lottie for?" Poppy asks. "Oh we've only had her two days but they've certainly been very eventful" Liam jokes making me tear up slightly. I don't like it when Liam makes jokes like that. "Liam! Look what've you done!" Jack cries pulling me onto his lap so that I'm facing him. "He didn't mean it. It's ok. Seriously Liam?!" I sniff and move closer to Jack who puts his arms me. "Go get her a bottle" Liam nods and rushes out keeping his head down.
When he returns , he comes up to us but I turn my head away showing him I'm still mad. "Thanks Liam" Jack says, anger evident in his voice. Once Liam has sat back down I start driking tears still running down my face. "I'm sorry Lottie. I didn't think it would upset you. I was just telling the truth" Liam half pleads. I shake my head and turn my body to face Jack who rubs my back. "Lottie, I'm begging you. I'm sorry" I continue to suck on the bottle even though by now, it's finished. "The McDonald's is here, I'll get it" Liam whispers getting up and heading towards the door. He returns within a minute and hands Jack a happy meal bag and a box of chicken nuggets with a cheese burger. The other two bags he carries, he keeps, handing one to Poppy. Jack gives a curt nod and hands me the happy meal.
After I've finished eating I slip off of Jack's lap and move over to Liam who picks me up. "I'm sorry Liam. I was just angry" I whisper making him snort with laughter. I frown and lightly hit him. "What? I don't care, you had a right to be mad at me. Can I be the one to give you your feed tonight?" I nod and he hugs me tightly with joy. "I love you Lottie. You know that, right?" I nod and yawn. On seeing this Jack smiles and says that it's bedtime because I need my beauty sleep.
