"Happy Turkey day!" Charles greeted as he walked through the precinct, to his desk, placing his jacket down.
"Yes! Right out of the gate." Jake cheered, sitting at his desk with Terry standing behind him, both detective and sergeant facing Charles.
"What?" Charles looked up from placing the cups of coffee down, sounding confused as all hell. "What's going on?"
"We're playing Boyle Bingo, Thanksgiving edition." Neveah managed to get out between a yawn, leaning back on her chair, looking like she had gotten very little sleep, which...well that's exactly what happened, holding up her playing card, the 25 blank spaces filled with different things.
"Everyone filled out their cards with possible Charles-related scenarios." Amy explained, gesturing to her own playing card. "First to bingo gets 100 bucks."
"I had 'Boyle calls it 'Turkey Day'' in the center square." Jake grinned as he pointed to it. Charles took Terry's card from his hands, reading the squares.
"'Boyle explains they ate lobsters at the first Thanksgiving'." Charles read out, looking up from the card. "They did. Back in that time, they called lobsters 'ocean bugs'." Charles explained, before realizing his mistake, nodding his head. "I'll just mark it off for you."
"I think I got the winning card here." Jake declared, "Boyle tells us that he played Pocahontas in his third-grade play."
"All the girls were too big." Charles shrugged, looking at the others.
"This is a fun one...'Boyle says 'gobble, gobble, gobble'." Gina piped up, looking at her card then up with a grin.
"Well, now that I know you want me to say that I'll just say it will two gobbles." Charles explained, walking to the middle of the makeshift circle they had formed. "Gobble, gobble...gobble." Charles gave up after a pause, "God, it just sounds right that way. Ugh, I don't like this game."
"Ha!" Rosa cheered, "'Boyle objects to Boyle Bingo.'"
"Come on guys." Charles complained
"Boyle says, 'come on guys.' That's two for Terry." Terry cheered, marking off his card.
"Well, guess what." Charles huffed, walking backwards towards his desk. "I can spoil your little game by sitting over here quietly all day and doing nothing." Charles finished, attempting to sit down in his chair, releasing a groan of pain on impact.
"Anybody have 'Boyle falls on the floor?'" Jake asked, looking around at the other detectives, seeing them all shake their heads, aside from a very zoned out Neveah. "No-one?"
"That's victory." Boyle cheered, standing up from the floor, "That's a victory for Boyle. Boom!"
Gina took a glance at Neveah's bingo card, marking off 'Boyle says 'gobble, gobble, gobble', 'Boyle says, 'come on guys.', and 'Boyle falls on the floor' for the half asleep detective. "Actually, Neveah does have it down, but they're almost asleep, so I marked it off for her."
