"Attention boys and ghouls." Charles greeted the squad as he strolled into the break room.

"Nope." Jake sighed, turning back to his coffee.

"Every Halloween, I dress up in an amazing costume, and you never get what I am." Charles began, exaggerating his speech by waving his arms around.

"No, we get what you are," Neveah interrupted, standing between Rosa's legs as the latter sat on the pool table next to Gina, "An adult man who enjoys dress-up."

"Very funny, Neveah." Charles fake laughed, "This year, that won't be a problem, because you're gonna pick my costume." Charles' statement pulled groans of disagreement from every detective in the room.

Charles' first outfit, as he walked into the break room once again, was a giant orange that could barely fit through the door.

"Uh, Ms. Pacman's nipple." Jake guessed, shrugging a little.

"No," Charles scoffed, "That's brown."

"Why would you know that?" Amy pulled a face of disgust as she looked at Charles.

Charles's next costume was that of a mock Shakespeare one, yelling "To be or not to be" as he walked through the break room door.

"Not to be" Neveah yawned as she leaned against Rosa's legs, the latter throwing an empty wrapper in Charles' direction.

"Thank you." Charles bowed, just missing the wrapper flying over his head.

Charles ran in the room yelling with his next outfit, flexing his fake muscles.

"Joan of Arc. Rod Stewart. Martha Stewart." Jake rapid fire yelled out his predictions, way off with every name he yelled out.

"He-Man!" Charles sighed, "Master of the Universe."

"I got it!" Gina gasped, "Gay Robin Hood." Every detective in the room pointed at Gina, agreeing with her call.

"That's it. That's it." Terry nodded in agreement.

"That's what it is." Gina grinned.

"Oh" Jake drawled as he got up from his chair, "Hey there, Captain. Just curious, do you happen to know what today is?"

"Well, based on the fact that yesterday was the birthday of legendary Dutch flautist Frans Bruggen, and a week ago it was October 24th, and today is Detective Ryan's birthday, I'd say today is-" Holt rambled before Jake interrupted him.

"It's Halloween." Jake shrugged, "Just say it's Halloween."

"It's Halloween." Holt shrugged, conceding to Jake's badgering.
