"Looking good. Happy Hanukkah" Jake speaks as he walks into the bullpen, walking over to his desk, taking his jacket off in the process.

"You look happy" Amy comments, looking up at Jake. "Let me guess. Your egg sandwich fell on the floor and they gave it to you for free."

"No." Jake turns to Amy. "Can you do that? Why doesn't everyone just drop their sandwiches on the floor?"

Amy sighed, her smile dropping, "I was trying to insult you."

"And instead, you gave me an amazing life hack." Jake grinned, sitting down at his desk, watching as Amy grabbed presents from the chair beside her desk. "Oh, Amy, you shouldn't have. But this is embarrassing. I didn't get you a present."

"The gift is for Captain Holt. It's one of six presents I got him representing the six lessons that he's taught me: determination, wisdom, posture-" Amy explains, tying the bow on the present before she is interrupted by Captain Holt.

"Excuse me, everyone." Holt announces, "As you may know, this is the holiday season. Detectives sometimes feel the urge to buy their captain's holiday presents. Please refrain from doing so. Under no circumstances do I want a present. Peralta, my office."

"Roger that!" Jake gets up from his chair, walking towards Holt's office.

"Oh my god, I have to return so many items" Amy complains, Jake whispering "I know" as he walked past, with Neveah announcing her presence in the chair by Jake's chair with a loud laugh, pointing at Amy as she did so. "Oh go back to your desk, Ryan!" Amy scoffed.

"Peralta's busy, so let's just get started." Amy instructed, standing in front of a whiteboard with the heading 'Captain Holt's secret Christmas card', the other detectives scattered around one side of the briefing room. "Now, the captain won't allow us to give him all the presents we bought him."

"You are the only one that did that." Rosa said, changing the position of her arms so that they were loosely crossed over the table, allowing Neveah to fiddle with the fingers on her left hand.

"But we can make him the greatest Christmas card of all time." Amy glared at Rosa before talking to the rest of the room. "We're gonna wear santa hats and big sweaters and take a picture of us all in a lineup."

"I'm sorry, Santiago, but I don't have time for that." Terry apologised, "My psych evaluation is today. They're gonna decide if I'm ready to make it back on the streets."

"Why do you care what they think?" Gina questioned Terry, confusion etched over her face. "Psychologists are just people who weren't smart enough to be psychics."

"Don't worry, Sergeant. We'll add you in later." Amy confirmed, Terry giving a thumbs up and leaving the room.

"Yeah, I can't. I have issues with the fabric used in Christmas sweaters." Neveah commented, not even bothering to look up from where she was now fiddling with the zippers on Rosa's leather jacket.
