Hi!
It's been a long time since the last time I updated this story, but I had been very busy recently lol!
Besides I decided to write some more chapters since I didn't like the final I wrote before.
I guess there is no need for warning in this chapter, but I can say a few upcoming chapters will be angsty!

standing in the edge of the cliff. He immediately pulled Wei Ying away from the cliff hugging him tightly.

Wei Ying was shaking uncontrollably because of the cold. He turned around to see who was hugging him. "Lan Zhan..." He started but he didn't know what to say even if he had a lot of things to say. "I'm sorry..." Even though he intended to say different things.

No he couldn't get away with just a simple apology this time. Lan Zhan was mentally and physically tired. He was physically tired because he had been looking for Wei Ying for hours. He was mentally tired because he was worried sick. "Do you have any idea how much I was worried about you? Is that all you can say? I looked everywhere for you and you only say that you are sorry?"

Wei Ying swallowed the lump in his throat. He wanted to answer, but words just didn't come out. What could he say? Lan Zhan had every right to be mad at him.

Lan Zhan sighed when he saw Wei Ying's expression. "I'm sorry for yelling at you. I was just worried about you. Let's just go back now." He held Wei Ying's hand and guided him back to the mental ward.

"I'm sorry..." Wei Ying was too ashamed to look at Lan Zhan while they were sitting in the room which he stayed in the mental ward.

Lan Zhan held Wei Ying's hand and rubbed it with his thumb. "This illness is not your fault, Wei Ying," he said reassuringly. Dissociative identity disorder was serious, time consuming and exhausting. As a doctor, Lan Zhan knew it very well. He helped people to develop some strategies to cope with it. First step of it was ending the shame. "You shouldn't be ashamed of who you are Wei Ying. This shame destroys self worth and self love."

"I'm ashamed of the voices in my head..." Wei Ying admitted and blushed deeply.

Even though Lan Zhan already guessed it, Wei Ying never talked about it openly to him. He patted Wei Ying's shoulder lovingly. "There is nothing to be ashamed of. If you want to get rid of dissociative identity disorder, first thing you should do is ending the shame, okay?"

Wei Ying nodded his head. "Okay." He really wanted to get rid of the dissociative identity disorder and he could do anything Lan Zhan told him to get rid of this disease.

"The second step is building your knowledge," Lan Zhan began explaining. "You are scared of the disease because you don't know too much about it. If you want I can bring books for you about dissociative identity disorder." Maybe they are not allowed to bring sharp objects into the mental ward, but there was no problem in bringing books.

"Okay it would be good," Wei Ying said. "I'm bored looking at these walls every day." At least with this way, he would learn something useful for himself. "So what is the next step?"

Even though Wei Ying didn't know, since he couldn't read Lan Zhan's expression, Lan Zhan was happy to see Wei Ying was willing to get rid of this situation. "The next step is starting planning and organizing," Lan Zhan explained. "I noticed because of your unpredictable amnesia, you forget taking your medicines. So it will be good to take notes the times when you will take the medicines. I know how forgetting things can be detrimental."

"Yeah," Wei Ying nodded his head. There was no words to explain the frustration he felt when he didn't remember the missing parts of his memories. "From now on I will be more careful."

"If you have any question in your mind you can call me from the ward's phone." Lan Zhan said.

Wei Ying laughed lightly. "Thank you. You helped me to find something I thought I lost a long time ago."

Lan Zhan pulled Wei Ying into his arms and hugged him. "I will be always with you to help you."

Wei Ying hugged back resting his head against Lan Zhan's chest. As long as he had Lan Zhan in his life, the rest didn't matter to him. "I know," he whispered. He couldn't tell anything else. He pressed his lips against Lan Zhan's lips and cupped his face after pulling away. "I know," he whispered again while rubbing Lan Zhan's bottom lip with his thumb.

"Wangji... What does that mean?" His uncle asked tossing an envelope in front of him. Lan Zhan was confused at first. He opened the envelope and froze in his place. The photographs were security footages in which him and Wei Ying were kissing. He felt like all the air in his lungs were gone and his tongue was tied up, so he couldn't speak.

"Are you in a relationship with your patient?" Lan Qiren asked when Lan Zhan didn't answer his first question.

Was there any point of denying it when everything was obvious? Besides Lan Zhan didn't want to hide his feelings for Wei Ying. "Yes, I'm in a relationship with Wei Ying," he said with a firm voice.

It was obvious that nothing could change his nephew's mind, but Lan Qiren still tried. "That can't be acceptable!" He yelled at Lan Zhan's face slamming his hand against the table. "He can't be more than your patient!"

Lan Zhan's lips formed into a smirk as he was taking his doctor uniform off. "If Wei Ying is not my patient anymore, then nothing can prevent me to being in a relationship with him," he said while his uncle was staring at him with a stunned look on his face. "I quit." Without giving a chance his uncle to speak, the young man left the room slamming the door shut.

Wei Ying was disappointed when he saw Lan Zhan's older brother in front of him. He wanted to ask where Lan Zhan was, but Lan Huan answered the question he didn't dare to ask yet. "Mr. Wei, Wangji quit the job. From now on I'm your doctor."
