                                 Michaela POV

I walked in to the coffee shop to see Lourdes half asleep at a table drinking a coffee. After getting my coffee I walked over to the table and sat down making Lourdes look more awake. "Hey M" "Hey Lou". "So I assume I should probably tell you what all happened while you were gone." "Yeah please" "alright well I'll start with the drinking. She started drinking constantly after you disappeared. Anytime she could. Somehow the precinct didn't find out nor did the academy. I'd come in to the bar a lot of the time and drive her home. I think everyone knew she'd been having issues but we were all grieving and everything so we didn't do much. Then the incident happened at the party. I don't know when she started self harming but somewhere in there. There is something I suspect though." Lourdes finished and I nodded hoping she'd go on without a verbal cue. "I think she might be starving herself" I tried to hide my surprise. "Why?" "Think about it." I nodded, when I was at her house there was little to no non fresh food in her fridge like she threw it all out. And she seemed skinnier. "She does seem skinnier. I'll try and invite her to lunch and see what she does" I told Lourdes. "Mhm good idea" she took another sip of her coffee. "Is there anything else?" "Not really. She might have some anxiety problems too but I assume you know that" "yeah I do. Look, I've gotta head out but does Jared know about any of this?" "Um he knows a little about the drinking and of course the sa" "alright. Just wanted to know how much I needed to hide" I told Lourdes. She nodded and I glanced at the clock. "I've gotta head to work. Go home and get some sleep you look exhausted" "I am. Have fun" I nodded and walked out of the shop after handing my mug to a barista. Driving to the precinct Drea met me at the door. "Hey D. God I'm tired" "me too. I hate early shifts" I nodded and walked over to the coffee pot. Drea followed me "is there a case?" I asked her. "No not really. I'm just bored and you were late" "oh yeah I overslept" Drea nodded and I was happy she bought the lie. I sat down with my coffee and waited for Jared.

                               Danni POV
I cleaned the new wounds and sat on the couch. My stomach growled. No, I turned on the TV to distract myself. The door bell rang. "It's open!" I shouted and Saanvi walked in. We'd become pretty good friends. "Hey Danni!" "Hey Vi" I offered a small smile and pat the seat next to me offering for her to sit. We sat and talked for a little bit until she walked into my kitchen. Shit. My kitchen. All the food was untouched and out of date in there. I ran in a few moments after and saw her checking the dates on the food. "It's not what it looks like I swear!" I shouted. Saanvi was startled by me showing up in the kitchen. She put the food she was holding away and looked at me. "Come on, let's go sit down" she said calmly walking back to the living room with me following. "Danni? Look at me" I was fidgeting with my hands but looked up. "Why was all that food untouched and rotten? It's the same groceries you         had weeks ago when I crashed here." I can't lie my way out of this. I could see by the look on her face that she knew "I think you know why" she nodded and placed her hand on top of one of mine. "Does anyone else know?" I shook my head. "You need help Danni." She told me and my breath caught. I just sat there in silence. "Why?" "I need to be skinny. I'm fat." I told Saanvi honestly. "Your not fat. Your underweight severely. When was the last time you ate?" I looked down. "3 days ago" I mumbled feeling ashamed. "C'mon we're going to my place to get you some food" I sighed. I could just throw it up later. I got in her car with her and we drove over to her house and she began to fix some food when we got in. I was bouncing my leg up and down and my hands were shaking as I sat on the couch. I can't eat. I can't.

Hey :) so I don't remember if I've introduced Drea before but yeah she's here now. I know Jared and Michaela are possibly still partners in this book (I don't remember) but like let's just pretend Drea is like also their partner idk. Whatever you want. They might just be friends idk
