TW: self harm mentions, eating disorder mentions

Drea POV

As I drove away from the precinct I started thinking. Danni had been weird lately. Her sleeves had seemed bulky around her arms sort of like she had bandages under them, she'd grab onto tables and corners and things randomly and go all pale while looking really unsteady, and a lot more. Michaela also seemed to be trying to sneakily check on her a lot when she didn't think anyone saw. Helping her make sure her sleeves were always pulled down, and other stuff. I scrolled through my contacts looking for someone who might know anything. Saanvi Bahl, Lourdes, Michaela, Jared Vasquez. What about Saanvi and Lourdes. I don't know either of them well but from what I know they're pretty close to Danni and I'd gotten each of their numbers at some point. I put them in a group chat and sent a message. "It's Drea Mikami I have some concerns about Danni Gonzalez I'd like to meet with the both of you to sort them out, can we meet the day after tomorrow at 4 o'clock?" I knew it was late, or early whatever, it was 12:45 AM so I didn't expect any responses. Seconds later my phone vibrated and I saw a text back from Lourdes "I can meet at 8 PM tomorrow if that works for you?" I quickly typed a response "yes it does thank you, that's right about after I get off work" I walked in and collapsed onto my bed. Soon my phone vibrated again, dammit Mikami why didn't you wait till tomorrow morning to text them? I saw Lourdes had messaged me privately asking "what are these concerns? We might be able to sort out a lot of it over text" I quickly typed a response "I'm just worried about Danni, her and Michaela have been acting a bit strange too. Michaela acts more protective over her than before, and Danni's sleeves look bulky almost like she has bandages or something under them, and Danni grabs onto things a lot and goes pale, she acts like she's dizzy" I sent it and laid in bed waiting for a response. Who am I kidding if these women know anything they aren't gonna tell me, it's their best friend they aren't gonna spill her secrets to some rando who messages them at almost 1 AM. I started running through possible scenarios in my head of why Danni's been weird. One thing popped into my head as an explanation for the bulky sleeves, could she be harming herself? And the dizziness, she never seemed to eat much. An eating disorder? Well maybe she's just not hungry. Lourdes never sent a message back making me wonder if I really was right.

                                    Lourdes POV

I sent a text to Michaela, Danni, and Saanvi. "Hey guys I know it's 1 AM but I just wanted to let Michaela and Danni know that Saanvi and I just got asked to meet with someone named Drea Mikami. She's pointing out some stuff that makes it seem like she might know some things although she pointed out some stuff I didn't know about, Danni can I talk to you at some point?" I sent it before falling asleep. Could my suspicions be right? Could Danni have an eating disorder?

Hey! I have no sleep schedule so here's an update : ). What do you guys think of where the story is headed?
