Danni POV

Taking a breath in as instructed by the doctor I felt her begin to remove the tube. Coughing I squeezed my girlfriends hand tighter. "It's ok she's almost done just give her 1 more minute and she'll be done. Your doing so well." I did our signal, 5 squeezes, I love you. Finally the tube was out, "Thank you so much doctor" I said though my voice was rough from the removal of the tube. "Danni you've done so well, you've met all your weight goals, your eating meals without needing your tube, there's no reason to thank me, you did this. You." She smiled holding her hand up for a high five. Chuckling I gave the high five, Saanvi helping me off the table. As we walked out together she leaned over to kiss me. "I'm so happy you guys beat the death date. I don't know what I could have don't without you and Michaela." We drove to pick up pastries and coffee from our coffee shop. Where we started dating. She went in to get the food and drinks because I was still coughing a bit from the tube and I was wearing something different than usual, a short sleeve shirt. I was scared. I also needed to talk to Michaela. To plan the proposal.  We'd been dating for 2 years and I decided it was time. Talking into the phone I smiled thinking about being married to Saanvi. "So your gonna do it at the Italian restaurant? That's such an amazing idea." I could hear the smile in her voice. "I know. She always said she'd be open to a public proposal but understood if I wasn't. But it's time." I was smiling now too. "It's gonna be great. We're gonna be married." The blond chuckled on the other end "that is the meaning of a proposal. Zeke and I always knew you two were gonna end up together. It was obvious, when Saanvi said she liked you I really wasn't surprised at all." I laughed. "You two weren't good at hiding it either. That she'd told you. I knew, I was just waiting on her move." "Of course you were. You were always that kinda person"  "shut up!" I was laughing now. "Yknow, I think I'm okay now, turns out I didn't need you to Save me Mick"
