Carrie came back home with Aqua and hugged her. "Thank you for that journey. I know I couldn't do it alone." Aqua nodded and patted her head. "Of course. You know I wanted to help." The girls hug it out before she went back into Toon Town. Carrie breathed in the fresh air before going into her home where her parents were there to greet her. "What a lovely day isn't it Carrie? Mom just made some fudge brownies." Daniel bounced up and down

The smell of the brownies made them levitate towards the tray that Amelia takes out of the oven. "You're just in time. They're freshly baked. But we gotta wait." Carrie and Daniel sat down at the table. "So how was that trip to the other dimension? I hope you didn't go alone." Amelia came and sat down with them. "It was strange. I.. If I never left, never changed your ways, I would have gone completely psycho." She felt bad and looked away. Amelia hugged her. "It's okay. I understand. Take a nap, maybe you'll feel better once the brownies are cool."

Carrie goes to her bedroom, which was her old nostalgic room and laid down on the bed. She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. Then she started going into a lucid dream land.

(In the dream land.)

Carrie opened her eyes to a winter wonderland. It was Christmas Eve 1983. She looked around the place and she was in winter gear. "Where am I? What is happening?" She got out a couple of her toon weapons. "I'm prepared for this nightmare. Come at me, imma let you choose which one." She called out, following the path up the hill. Her old home in the distance. "That's our old house." She puts her weapons away and sees a little version of herself having a snowball fight with her dad and grandfather. She smiles gently at this

The little girl Carrie sees the adult Carrie coming up the hill. "Daddy, who's that?" She pointed to her and The young Daniel picked her up. "Hmm? Oh! Hello Madame. Are you lost?" Benny greeted her. Carrie looked a bit nervous but nodded. "Y-yeah. I kinda took one wrong turn." Daniel opened the door. "Well come inside miss! My wife is cooking up some food for dinner." Everyone came inside.

The young Amelia turned to see the adult Carrie. As she held out a nicely cooked ham. "Who are you?" "Uh.. I'm Caroline. I'm not sure but I kinda got lost on the way to the slopes." Carrie takes her winter gear off. "You can warm up with some food. And hey, merry Christmas." He held out a hand and Carrie shakes it. "Merry Christmas to you too." The family sat together and ate the Christmas dinner after prayers

"So Caroline, are you here on vacation?" Lucille asked and Carrie nodded. "Yeah. I go back to France for college. I'm taking my winter break off here in America." Carrie felt a lot more warmer and raised a glass. "I propose a toast, to new friends." They all clinked their glasses together. Lucille and Benny shared stories about Daniel when he was a kid and Amelia laughed along. Carrie listened to them, feeling like a kid all over again.

After dinner, Carrie thanked them for a wonderful time before she got her winter gear back on again. Spending time with them for a little while longer. She baked cookies with her mother, laughing, danced to some tunes with her grandma and grandpa and played outside in the snow with her child self, making a snowman and decorating it with her. After a cup of hot cocoa with them, she thanked them for the good time. Carrie was walking out the door and shuts it before her younger self followed her and they talked alone.

"You're not really a Caroline, are you?" Her little self asked her. Carrie sighed and turned around to meet her as the snow comes down. "Kid, come here for a second.. you don't have to run.. I know I look different, but.. I'm you. Far in the future.." She knelt down to her level and smiles. "I won't hurt you, I promise." Little Carrie hugged her big self and Carrie began tearing up as she held her back, trying her best not to break all the way down and scare her.

"Look at me kid, trust me when I say this.. you're going to go through some hardships in your lifetime." Carrie moved some hair from her face.. "There might be some rough patches with your mom and you feel like you want to give up so bad because it isn't worth it changing her mind. I trust you." Little Carrie wiped her tears away and Carrie continues onward. "Listen to me when I say that it's gonna get all better.. You are okay! You will meet three special toons who will love you. So much.. I promise." She began crying a lot and then Daniel opened the door. "Time to come in Carrie."

Little Carrie lifted her up and cheered. "It's gonna be okay Caroline!" She was given a little gift bag full of things she loved. Carrie gave a little laugh through her tears. "I know it will be, sweetheart." Little Carrie waved goodbye to her and she nodded. "It will be.." Carrie turned and walked away after waving goodbye to her little self and when she was out of sight, she wakes herself up.

(End of the dream.)

Carrie got up and looked around the room. Then she notices the same bag sitting on the drawer. "Huh?" She opened it to see the same stuff. She hugged it and gets up, going to her parents ready to enjoy some brownies
