End of flashbacks:
"Karen is very special, I'm glad your mom let us bring her with us." You said, smiling as you remember how your sister-in-law and you met.
As you were an only child who always wished you had younger siblings to take care of, you soon became attached to her as your own.
"Yeah, I couldn't imagine being here without her." He agreed. "I still can't believe she's graduating tomorrow."
Kenny was very proud of her, there was a time when he never thought they would both get this far in their goals, once they did, they would never stop.
"Will she like the ring I bought her?" You asked.
"And you still doubt it? You've always had good taste, sweetheart." Your husband assured you.
"Aww sweet, thank you." You thanked him, giving him a quick but tender kiss on the lips.
But knowing your man as you did, he wouldn't be satisfied with just that little kiss.
You laughed softly as he climbed on top of you and began to cover your neck in kisses that made your skin crawl.
"Mommy? Daddy?"
The two of you immediately froze upon recognizing your 3-year-old daughter's voice. You pushed him forward and stood up, as if nothing had happened.
"Honey, what happened?" You asked.
"I went to your room, but you weren't there." She explained, while rubbing one of her sleep-weary little eyes.
She looked extra adorable in those heart pajamas, her dark blonde hair messy and holding her favorite blanket, which she was dragging on the floor.
"Aww sweetie, you had a nightmare, did you?" He asked, not being the first time this had happened.
She stated with a nod.
"Aw, come lie on the couch with Mommy and Daddy." You said, bending down and holding your arms out to her.
Kathy laughed adorably and ran over to you, you picked her up and snuggled her on the couch next to the two of you. It didn't take long for her to fall asleep again, when her father affectionately began to stroke her little head.
"What were we even talking about?" Kenny asked, becoming mesmerized as he watched her sleeping. There was no one in the world who loved Kathy more than he did.
"Remember when my cousin was more jealous than my own father?" You asked between laughs, but low so as not to wake your daughter.
"Do I remember? Good thing we moved here." He said.
Your mind flew to a day that summer, when your boyfriend went to visit you at the farm.
Aunt Sharon was surprised to discover the relationship between the two of you, but she didn't seem to have had a negative reaction. He and you stayed in your room, doing nothing but enjoying each other's sweet company, talking and cuddling, there was nothing you liked more to do.
However, when he was about to give you a kiss, both of you were startled by the loud noise of the door opening. Obviously it was Stan.
"What did I already told you about closing the bedroom's door?" He scolded both of you, looking outraged.
"Dude, what the fuck? You said it was okay for me to date your cousin..."
"Well, I didn't say anything about closed doors while you're both alone here." He snapped.
Not long after, your cousin's secret boyfriend arrived, looking very happy for some reason. You breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that from now on he would be too busy with Gary to keep an eye on you.
