The monster turned back to Grim. The goo dripped on the ground around it.
"Grrrrrr...leave"!!! it screeched out and started to run towards us.
"Gah! It's coming"! Grim yelped as we started to run away.
"Come over here~" I called out.
"Grrr!? There...thief...too... won't give...mine...mine!!" the monster proceeded to scream while punching the ground. the rocks flew everywhere, luckily none of them hit us
"eeeek! That punch looks like it could knock anyone out"!
"Spooky!
Grim make sure to lead it super far from the tunnel"! Grim nodded at my words and started running towards the entrance, the monster following close behind.
Ink flew through the tunnel as Grim led the monster away from us.
"Go away! Go away"!
Grim turned around to us "it's pretty far from the tunnel now"!
I smirked "Alright! Go for it"!
"Okay, I got this! Let's go, Extra-large Tempest"! A huge tornado flew straight towards the black ink. Me and Grim prepared for our attacks.
"And the Great Grims fire special! fgnnnnnnnaaaaaa"! a large gust of fire flew towards the monster
"Here we go! Weirdly large gust of fire spell"!! Another fireball flew towards the monster, the wind blowing it into a tornado.
"Oh wow! That's the first time that's ever worked"! I smiled
"You can do things other than plant magic"? Deuce asked
"yes sir. Though I really do suck at it"!
The large tornado hit the monster. "GUAAAAAAAH" it screeched in pain.
"How's that? I can even fan Grim's shoddy flame to be an inferno"? Ace said casually
"It's not shoddy! Ugh, every word out of your mouth pisses me off"! Grim angrily replied.
"Now's our chance! Deuce, it's your time to shine"! I called out to Deuce who turned forward and closed his eyes. It was clear that he was under some amount of pressure
"Calm down...take aim...The biggest, heaviest...thing I know...come forth cauldron"! A large cauldron flew towards the beast, smashing against its head
"Nice job everyone! Hey, look! The monster looks flat as a pancake, just like Ace earlier"! Grim enthusiastically said.
"You don't have to bring that up again. jeez, today just isn't my day..."
"C'mon! We gotta get this crystal before the guy gets free" We all ran deeper into the cave running as fast as we could, I checked behind me a couple times to see if the monster was anywhere behind us occasionally. Soon we arrived at a place that was mostly desolate of crystals...except for one shiny one.
"A magic crystal"! Deuce said while grabbing it from the wall. We then started running back to the entrance, the crystal emitting a glow from inside my bag
"HANDS OOOOOOFFFF" the creature started to get the cauldron off of its body.
"Crap that thing's almost free"! Ace said worriedly.
"Oi Deuce throw something heavy"! Grim yelled out to him
"Eeh? Something heavy? Uhm...come forth cauldron"! A cauldron flew at the beast smashing it a bit "uhhhh...uhhhh...Cauldron"? Another black cauldron hit the ink.
