Chapter 4

Just as how fast she pulled Ben, was how fast she also pulled back. Staring directly in his eyes in mere seconds, then hurried off.

As Lilith reached the sink, panting, she put her head down low.

"That's it. This is a sign that I really should leave.." She thought to herself.

She went to the gym, looking for Luther, and there she find him and Sloane, seemingly getting alone, because she seems to startled the two.

"You guys are cute." Lilith said as she went on the treadmill.

Sloane just looked at her nervously and Lilith looked back. She gave Sloane a look, that she didn't know if she understood. She genuinely thought Sloane was actually interested in Luther.

Yeah, the Sparrows are "lowkey" holding her hostage, but she just knew deep down that Sloane is a good person.

She just continued running on the treadmill not giving too much attention on the two "lovebirds." The two had a misunderstanding somehow, then suddenly a raven caws and Fei came in.

"Ben would like a word." Fei said to Luther then turned her head over to Sloane, "Go get cleaned up."

Lilith noticed that Sloane was trying to explain herself but Fei seem to take a notice to this.

"Lilith, you should come too." Fei called out as she got off the treadmill and followed Fei.

As Luther and Lilith met up with the sparrows, Sloane and Luther looking at each other, while Ben and Lilith were avoiding each other's gaze.

"Doesn't look like your family is coming anytime soon." Fei told Luther.

"Oh, no, I'm sure they're just, you know, working out the final details and.. such.."

Lilith turned to look at Luther, sensing his disappointment and worry, that the Sparrows seem to have noticed as well, then Ben approached him as Lilith looked elsewhere.

"Relax, you're free to go." Ben says in a bit of a snarky way.

"Why?" Luther asked suspiciously.

"Gesture of goodwill. But I want both of you.." Ben says as he turned his gaze to Lilith as she furrowed her eyebrows looking at him.

"..to pass along a very important message to your family."

"Yeah, of course." Luther says while nodding as he furrowed his eyebrows looking at Ben.

"Let Marcus go. And if any of you hurt one hair on him, we'll come for you." Ben informed as he looked back at his sibling and them agreeing with him.

"...all of you." He continued.

"And I promise we won't be so hospitable next time."

Luther smiled back nervously at him, "Super don't like being threatened, Ben."

Fei approached and says, "You'll do as we says, or else.." as she manifested her ravens to scare the two, as the ravens screeched.

"I really hate birds." Lilith told Fei as she turned her head to Lilith.

"...birds. I'm my brain." Luther says as he point at his head as he still , understandably, smiled nervously. "Got it."

"Don't forget your tote bag." Ben says as he snaps and Alphonso reached out for said tote bags. As both Lilith and Luther looked confused as Alphonso as he gave the tote bags to them.

They all stood up and surrounded the two, "Hope you enjoyed your stay." Ben mockingly says as the two walked off.

"How are you? Did they hurt you while you were here?" Luther asks as Lilith got startled by the sudden question.

"No.. I was fine. But I was also somehow waiting for you guys to go get me." She looked down and chuckled.

Luther looked at her and sighed, "Hey, we were worried but we didn't exactly know you so.. we weren't so sure whether to get you or not." He informed her at she looked back at him and chuckled.

"Yeah I already thought of that." She says as they both went out of the academy's gates.

When suddenly someone called out from the from the academy, and it was Sloane calling Luther as he turned to look at her, then to Lilith.

She can't go to meet the Umbrellas on her own and still had to prove herself to them. So she decided that she'll wait flr him.

"I'll leave you be. But I'll wait for you at the park." She told Luther as she waved at Sloane and left.
