Chapter 16

As the two sat next to each other, Reginald came to the banquet hall and delivered his speech, and as he finished, everyone clapped, as Allison walked out after she and Viktor had an argument.

"That makes no sense." Ben says after hearing his dad's speech as Lilith glared at him.

"It was beautiful you're just bitter." Lilith says as she stood up, while everyone else went to the dance floor.

"Come with me!" Lilith says as she pulled a drunk Ben with her, and he tagged along.

As everyone 'called it a night', Lilith, Klaus and Ben were at the karaoke.

Lilith watched the two as they sang and danced together.

She suddenly felt that the alcohol's already wearing out as reality's sinking back to her. Breathing heavily, as Ben sat beside her and Klaus having the mic to himself, he stared at the two and laughed.

"Hmm you two together reminded me of something.." Klaus says looking up, and trying to remember what it is in the back of his mind.

"Oh, i remember now! It's you and this pretty girl we saw while getting donuts!" Klaus pointed at Ben. As Lilith's mouth agape and Ben furrowed his eyebrows.

"But we never saw her again.." He says as he dramaticaly puts his head down low, hand in his own chest.

"And he's been wanting to meet her again but we didn't know her name so we didn't know how to find her!" Klaus whined as he pointed at Ben, as Lilith was shocked, confused and sad, whilst looking down.

"Hey, it's not me, it's the other Ben." A drunk ben says as he chuckled.

"Oh yeah, yeah you're right.." Klaus says as Lilith suddenly stood up and Ben looked at her, worried, as she goes.

"Hey Lil where are you going!" Klaus called out in disappointment.

"I just.." she sighed, as she looked back at them.

"My head hurts. That's all." She lied and hurried off as Ben looked at her, confused.

As Lilith reached one of the rooms, she pulled Ben's drawing that she hid in her jacket, she then layed on the bed, and cried as she looked at it.

She was guilty as it is, but finding out that Ben really did wanted to see her again, hurt even more.

As she fell asleep, Ben went in to check up on her, while still on his drunken state.

He approached Lilith and crouched next to her, staring at her.

Ben gently removed the hair covering her face, not taking his eyes off of her.

He gently caressed her cheeks filled with tears, as he sighed. He leaned in closer, and softly gave her a forehead kiss.

Backing away, Ben looked back at her with softened eyes, he then noticed a familiar drawing crumpled up on the desk.

Ben sighed as he took the drawing, folded it up and put it in his pocket and he left.
