Chapter 17

Still feeling the worst hangover in the world she's ever felt, Lilith woke up later than the others, so she went to go get, what she specifically referred to as her 'last breakfast' which were some left over food from yesterday's festivities.

As Lilith leaned her chin on her hand as her elbow put up on the table, she lazily enjoyed her food, as Allison came in.

She looked up at her, and smiled awkwardly at her, as she still hated Allison for everything she have done this week.

"I know you still hate me, Lilith. I'm sorry for everything." Allison said.

"I see the actress side of you is still working well." Lilith says as she continued eating, which earned a scoff from Allison.

"Dad has a plan, and he would like to call a meeting. There's still a chance to save the world, Lilith." She convinced, as Lilith put her spoon down, and sighed.

"Sure, I'll be there." She says as Allison left to go to the others.

Reginald informed them about a portal in the universe, which is in the hotel.

They had to fight a guardian that guarded the other side of said portal.

They asked Reginald some time to think it through, on whether they go to the portal and fight, or not. On which ones would go and which ones would stay.

As Ben, Allison, Lila, and Klaus decided to go. On the other hand Diego, Viktor, Sloane, Luther and Five decided to stay.

Lilith's the last one.

"Lilith?" Allison asked, as Lilith sighed and looked around, as her eyes caught Ben's.

He had a hopeful look in his eyes. But, she's already made her choice, and even though she's scared, she had accepted her fate.

"I'll stay." She said as Ben looked at her with knitted eyebrows, whilst she took her eyes off of him.

But, given that Reginald needed seven to come with him, they weren't able to continue on with the mission.

As everyone scattered around, some upset, some awaited the world's end. Lilith went to one of the rooms, sat on the bed, and dolefully looked out the window.

"You really aren't gonna change your mind." Ben asked, as she looked over to him.

Lilith stood up and is about to leave as Ben held her wrist.

"Didn't you want to be a part of something so badly. This is your chance and you're wasting it?" Ben snarkily told her, as she glared at him.

"Ben.. I was never a fighter to begin with." Lilith says as Ben's eyebrows furrowed as he stared directly into her eyes.

"And besides, I am a part of something." She says as she pulled her hands off of him and left.

As he followed after her, with eyes filled with regret, suddenly a scream could be heard from the white buffalo suite.

Lilith stopped on her tracks as she turned to where the scream came from, as her and Ben looked at each other and hurried to the suite.
