A girl awakes from her sleep, a cold feeling washing over her as she tries to recall her dream. The peaceful moonlight stands in contrast to the thoughts running trough her head. The only thing she can remember about her dream is a feeling, some kind of darkness that threatened to swallow her. But not only her, it threatened to swallow all of what's left of the light. Well, it couldn't really be called a light, it's more of a spark. The spark that was supposed to bring back balance to the galaxy. This spark is threatened by death before it can start the fire that will bring back the peace that not many people can remember.
Worry washes over her as she realises that it wasn't a dream that made her wake up after suffocating in endless darkness. No, it was a prophecy, a warning, a promise. The girl's legs shake slightly as she stands up, looking for the hilt of her lightsaber. She doesn't think that she will face a physical threat that she could fight against. Her lightsaber might not be able to help her, but it can give her the feeling of security that she is craving.
The cold metal of the hilt of her lightsaber feels familiar in her hand as she picks it up. The girl attaches it to her belt and leaves her hut, not knowing what will wait for her.
As she walks over the narrow path connecting her hut to the others she tries to pinpoint where exactly the thread could come from. She didn't notice anything out of the ordinary yet, no dark energy, but she knows that something has to happen. The way this dream left her feeling completely defenceless and hopeless just has to mean something.
Her master would probably tell her that it was just a dream, that nothing bad could ever happen at the temple and that they are completely safe; that's what he has told her everytime. He always tries to make his students believe that there is only the light, that there is no darkness surrounding the force. He's scared of the darkness. She just knows it. It's obvious in the way he tenses whenever someone asks him a question about the 'other' side of the force. The 'bad' side as her master would probably say. The girl was never able to understand this. He preaches that everyone and everything has good in them, then why shouldn't the dark side have it? Nothing is good or bad by default. Everything is neutral until something makes them turn. Keeping this in mind the girl believes that the force is neutral, there is no good or bad force as the Jedi and the Sith use the same force. The way someone uses the force and their motives behind their actions determine what side someone belongs to.
But still, she knows that he only means good. He has never shows her anything but kindness. Through his strong believe in the light he was able to even redem the famous Darth Vader.
