It was a gloomy night. The sky was now indigo as the boy walked. He was headed to the café after visiting their sick friend, Kyunghwa, not knowing Ruri had closed the café earlier 'cause she wanted to visit the sick girl. He felt his phone vibrate from his pocket as he walked, making him stop and check his phone.

He then placed his phone inside his pocket and went. Before he continued walking, headed home, he stopped by a convenience store to buy some snacks and some of the things he needed. When he was by the café, he noticed the person walking ahead of him was on her phone.
She shouldn't be walking and texting...
He thought as fidgeted with the keychains attached to his sling bag. He then saw the girl stop by the crosswalk, waiting for the traffic light to turn red, still on her phone. Not long after, the traffic light turned red and the girl crossed the street, still eyeing her phone, not noticing a speeding motorcycle headed towards her.
Shit.
He thought as he immediately ran and held the girl's wrist, pulling her back to the sidewalk. The girl then turned around to face him, a familiar face greeting him.
"Gyeoul?"
