Chapter 10- Avery's doubts

                                   "Do you remember your past?" Jimmy asked. "No, not at all. Why are you asking?" I asked Jimmy "Gem raised you up don't you remember?" Jimmy asked. "All I remember is that I woke up on red sand on a mesa." I replied. "Oh, I forgot I prepared soup for you let me get it." I said before rushing into the tent. When I went into the tent, I saw the the soup was not overheated and it was about to be done. I poured the soup in a bowl and I walked over and gave it to Jimmy. "Thank you for the soup I am shivering and cold so I needed something warm to eat." Jimmy thanked as he ate his bowl of soup. "What happened? it is no that cold around here and sometimes I feel hot in my outfit but I feel I have no choice but to wear this as this is my only outfit." I replied "Scott froze my heart with a ice blast." Jimmy replied cluthing at his chest. He seemed cold so I tried to find something else to warm him as the blanket in his tent was not enough keep him warm. I felt bad as I had nothing else to help keep him warm. I started to remember that I was short of food all I had left was like a few tomatos, a small potato and a piece of small chicken wing. I informed Jimmy that I will be out foraging for food and he will be at the tents by himself until I come back.

                           I went to the forest for food and picked a few mushrooms,hunted one cow, got some edible flowers and got berries. On the way back to my campsite, I started to ask myself about my past. What is my real name?What was I like?who were my parents?why is the ocean drained?what happened to me?why does that man feel familiar but I did not remember him at all?.Millions of questions flooded in my head. I finally reach my campsite, to see Jimmy sitting on the grass. "I am back!" I said waving to him. I saw that he had a book but he hid it away. "I saw you were hiding something." i said staring at him. "Umm it w-was j-ust a s–tory–book that I de–cided to r-re-ad" He stuttered. "Why are you stuttering you are lying tell me the truth!" I replied in angry voice. Suddenly, it broke into awkward silence as we stared at each other.

                              Eventually, I was bored and decided to go to my tent to read my book but I was to bothered by what had happened that I spent my time sitting in my tent wondering what is Jimmy trying to hide from me? Is he a bad person trying to kill me?Is he a monster trying to kill me or corrupt me?. A chill went down my spine as I thought about it. It could be nothing stop overeacting Avery! how is Jimmy bad? It must be Scott controling Jimmy. Jimmy can be in a spell! I panicked. "Jimmy, do you know the nearest library?" I asked in a panicked voice. "It is there *points at prisma palace*(Avery does not know it is the prisma palace) and why do you sound like you were panicking?" Jimmy asked. "It is nothing, I am just bored." I replied as I went to the palace. The ocean was drained it had Lily pad islands surrounding the towers. I went in to see the Library there was a sign that said 'The Ocean Empire Library' "WOW SO MANY BOOKS" I squealed in delight as i looked for the book I needed. It must be at the section about Magic. After looking for a while I saw a book the cover said 'The Ultimate Guide on Magical spells' I had a picture of a magical wand on the blue colored cover of the book. I took the book and left. I went back to the campsite and started reading. I read with disappointment that I can't find a spell to cure Jimmy and also if it was possible that a ice blast could hypnotise a person. What is happening?What is Jimmy hiding?Who is Scott?is Scott a bad person? WHAT IS HAPPENING! I thought and screamed internally. Is anything bad happening I don't know! My past was a blur and whenever I thought about the past my mind went blank. I should sleep so maybe I could figure out tomorrow
