Chapter 9- Avery's biggest mistake

I was in the forest foraging for food. When I was taking some mushrooms when I saw a glow from the caves. I told myself not to go in there. But after much deliberation, I decided to go in the caves. I went to see that it was a lush cave it had vines growing down and some moss In the center of the cave, There was a blood red gemstone floating in between 2 rocks. My curiosity overwhelmed me and I took the gemstone. Little did i know this might be my biggest mistake...

Where am I? I asked myself as I was on the sandy mesa. I felt like something was not right my legs felt wobbly and I touched my face it felt too normal like too smooth. I took some supplies and ventured out to set up a campsite nearby. I tried to remember something but my mind went blank all I remember that my name starts with the letter A. Is my name Anna?Arianna?Auldrey?Alice?Alexa?. I thought as I pondered about what my name is. The next day, I adventured around and soon enough, I lost sight of where I was. I was wondering about who I was and where I am at. I suddenly managed to hear a voice telling me something. "Avery help! Xornorth will destroy the world you need to find the book about Xornorth." A voice said. When I turned around, I saw no one. Was I hallucinating who is Avery?Is my name Avery? I asked myself as I stared at the night sky. I slept inside my tent feeling confused on what is happening. I woke up the next morning, I went to cook my self a tomato soup for breakfast. and decided to call myself Avery as it sounded familiar and may be my real name.

Scott's POV

The codfather can't stop disturbing me! I just want to be alone. "LEAVE ME ALONE!" I screamed as I accidently blasted ice, It hit Jimmy. I started to sob uncontrollably. "Scott are you ok?" Jimmy asked. "I AM A MONSTER!" I screamed. "Scott you are not!" Jimmy replied while clutching his chest. "IT IS MY FAULT THAT YOU ARE SICK!" I screamed. Scott liste– before he could continue I went to my house crying. I felt so angry and sad at the same time and I can't seem to think straight and felt so weak. "Scott listen to me. It's me Aeor I was watching over you and I can sense you are not feeling easy. Come with me we can rule the world even defeat Xornorth." Aeor said and I nodded my head to what Aeor said. He was the gurdian of Rivendell and finally listened to my calls for help.

Back to Avery's POV

I was walking to see a guy he looked familiar and he was laying on the ground. His heart was beating and I could feel like he was too cold so I carried him to my tents and let him lasy inside one of the tents to nap while I prepare soup for the man and I. I went into the tent. "Are you awake?"I asked the man. "Avery? is that you and yes I am awake." The man asked. "Who are you? and I might be Avery or you are looking for someone else." I replied. "I am the codfather,Jimmy, don't you remember me from the time I brought you to my house when you were in the Crystal Cliff archives." Jimmy asked with a questioned look on his face. "I don't remember that at all you might be with the wrong person." I replied.
