Chapter 8 - The truth revealed and other stuff

 I went to the room and knocked on the door. "Can i come in?" I asked "come in" Scott said. I went to the room to see Scott sitting on the blue bed. "I am suspicious of Joel he is not acting normal." Scott said "I feel so to the tea might be posionous or even contin ingredients to corrupt people!" I replied. "But you drank the tea right?" Scott asked with a confused look on his face. "No I did not, I poured the tea in a pouch and dumped it outside." I explained. "Bye i am leaving." Scott said as he jumped out of the window. I went out of the room I wanted to warn Shrub about the tea but when I went downstairs. It was too late Shrub was already corrupted. She had red eyes which is a very common sign of magical corruption that was what my mother usually say. I tried to tell Shrub about the tea but she refused to listen to me. "What are you telling Shrub." Joel asked "Uhh nothing." I replied with hesitation "I am going to leave this house so bye." I said leaving to the door. "No you can't leave" Joel said blocking the door I decided it was better to sneak out at midnight. I slept in my room with Shrub. I made sure Shrub and Joel was sleeping and I jumped off the window and went to find a new place. I had to leave i just have a bad feeling about that place. I set off to new lands I have barely any food except for 1 loaf of bread, a sword, a bucket and a elytra which is about to break. I decided to fly in my elytra after so long of refusing to use it. I was flying around when my elytra broke "AHHHHHHH!" I screamed as i was about to fall from the sky. I was falling when I feel something lift me up. I saw Jimmy. After that, I reached the ground to see a place that looked unfamiliar to any empires I have seen everything was abandoned and still intact. Jimmy disapeared after he saved my from my death. I explored around in the middle of the empire there stood a structure there were candles with different colour around the structure. It look familiar to a structure I saw in a book I did not know which empire I was in but I was kind of sure that the structure I saw just now was a vigil. I explored around the area and thought it was a good idea to stay at this place for now before moving to a better place there is a water source nearby but it is evaporating very fast. I went in one of the houses and placed my bed there. I filtered the water and removed the sand from it and drank the water.

After a few days of staying in the desert, I left to search a new place. The desert was too hot and there are barely resoures there. I was going to get supplies before moving to another place maybe the Undergrove? I asked myself on where to settle next. After the trip I managed to collect a decent amount of food and other suppplies. I went to swamp empire. at least there was a little bit of clean water I thought as I traveled there. I reached to see the the swamp drained and the water was gone. I decided it may be a good idea to stay in the shack near the what was used to be the swamp. "Knock Knock!" I knocked on the door to see Jimmy, Ruler of the Cod Empire. in the shack. "What brings you here." Jimmy asked "I am looking for a place to stay" I explained. "Sure you can stay here if you want, But why did you leave my the Ocean Empire?" Jimmy asked. "There is no water there" I explained "Why are there corspes of cod laying the swamp land." I can't help but ask "cod lived there and due to the lack of water in the swamp they died." Jimmy explained. I placed my bed and my supplies on the floor. "Have you seen Scott I missed him." Jimmy asked with a sad look on his face. " I saw him earlier when Shrub, Scott and I bumped in Joel but I don't know where he is right now." I answered "but I thought Joel was gone dead." Jimmy replied with a confused look on his face. "Wait, that could been Xornorth being Joel." I replied with a shocked look on my face. I came to the realisation that that 'Joel' could have been Xornorth. Suddenly a piece of paper sliped under the door I picked it up and it was a letter that was adressed to me. it said.

Dear Avery,

This is Lizzie, The Ocean Queen, I want to tell you something at my Prisma Palace at 10 am in the morning

Jimmy and I were shocked. Why would the Ocean Queen want to see me? How does she know me? I asked myself "Why would my seabling want to see me?" Jimmy asked. It was 10 am in the morning I went out to set to the Prisma Palace to see the Ocean Queen. She looked like a blue Axololt just like me. She had pink hair as the same shade as mine (Avery only had a streak of pink hair) "I want to tell you about the truth. Darling you are not Gem's daughter you are my daughter." "WHY WOULD YOU ABANDON ME!" I screamed with tears in my eyes. Avery,let me—- before Lizzie could finish her sentence Avery stormed of the steps of the Prisma Palace and headed to the Cod empire to see that Jimmy was gone. There was a letter on the table that said.

Jimmy's POV

I missed Scott I have the elytra and some rockets so I could fly up the mountains of Rivendell to visit Scott. I hope that he would still like me. After flying up I reached the place. I sighed and knocked on the door "can I come in?" I asked politely. "Come in" Scott said. I went in the room "Hi was asking if we could be friends again?" I asked as we used to be best friend and I aam not too sure if Scott wants to be in a relationship with me. "Are you here to trade then go away!" Scott screamed in anger. I wanted to be friends but Scott has changed he acts different now like something has changed. i wanted to know him again like after months of not seeing him. Maybe I will visit another day...
