Chapter 14- Avery's Escape and other stuff

Jimmy's POV

I was at the Cod Empire, I got myself tea and sat on the floor. I had a quilt to warm myself but I still felt cold from Scott's ice blast. where is Avery?Where is everyone?How is Scott?where is
Scott? a million questions raced through my mind. I was lonely, it has been weeks since i saw anybody. I was losing hope that we will ever defeat Xornorth. I could travel to the Nether, it might be dangerous but maybe the hot enviroment there might help me warm myself. I immediately looked through my chests to find a flint and steel. I did not have obsidian to make a portal. I soon decided to look around for a portal.

After hours of searching, I found one it was lit. So i went in. Suddenly, a fireball hit me. I soon ran away I dug a small hole in the netherrack to keep myself safe "Ahh it feels warm here. I feel stronger" I said to myself.I soon just sat there. I was too scared to adventure in the nether with my weak state at the momment. I just sat there for hours thinking and watching the surroundings through my hole. I don't know if I will ever see my friends, Scott or Avery again. Eventually, letting the warmth embrace me, I slept*extra note: he has no quilt with him*

Scott's POV

I was at Rivendell, alone I don't even know what to do. I knew that all hope is lost. I did not know where everyone is, the world is in shambles. It is only now I know what I did. How can I be so mean? I ruthlessly froze both Gem and Jimmy" I am a monster, I am no different than Xornorth I thought sitting on the floor. There is nothing I can do. All hope is lost.

Avery's POV

I went to the house mini library, I wanted to search for a book that contained somehting about spells. I searched and searched. After hours of searching, I found a few books. "Avery, come with me." 'Joel' said. *note: quotes for the demon shapeshifter Joel* 'Joel soon pulled me over. "AHHH!" I screamed at the top of my voice. I kicked my legs furiously. He soon draged me to a room. It was dark and it was very dark there was a tiny bit of glowing lichen which emitted like a bit of light. drip,drip the water trickled down the celling. "You can't escape now Avery," 'Joel' said. "Also I forget to add that the room is going to flood in 1 hour" Joel continued before leaving. how am I supposed to survive?Am I going to die?How can I escape? thoughts rushed to my mind as I searched around the dark room. I knew screaming for help would do nothing no one would hear me anyways. Eventually 1 hour passed in a flash, the water was rushing to the room very quickly. I was submerged into the cold,murky and muddy water.

Instinctively, I paddled my legs as fast as I could but my attempts failed. Suddenly I felt something I did not know what was happening. I was somehow breathing fine in the water. what is happening to me? I thought to myself. I soon saw a trapdoor that was slightly open. I soon swam to that. I tried to lift it but there were thick ropes blocking it and I can't see it due to the murky water. I swam around and found a sharp object it was small and tiny to cut through the thick rope. Being too desperate, I went and used it to cut the rope.

Finally after some time of cutting through the rope, I immediate jumped through the trapdoor. Water rushed in the pipe, I crawled through the pipes and it led to the trapdoor on the roof on top of my room. I quickly grabbed my bag and stuff with me. I jumped through the window and ran to a forest.

Scott's POV

I was walking in a forest, I needed some fresh air. I was walking my head hung low contemplating my actions. I did not notice where I was going and I bumped into someone. I looked up to see Avery "hi Avery" I said. "Hello Scott" she replied. She had a handful of flowers specifically poppies. Tears start flowing down my cheeks uncontrollably, "why are you crying Scott?" Avery asked. "No I am not I am fine" I replied wiping my tears.
