Chapter 15- Maybe there is a solution?

Avery's POV

I led Scott to my campsite. Which was not that far from where we were. When we reached there, I handed him a piece of bread as he was hungry. "Thanks Avery" Scott thanked. "No problem" I said lighting the campfire for the night. It was already night after our trip I cooked some mutton. I went to my tent and slept as was tired.

I woke up the next morning to see that Scott was not around. I was going to go to get food until I saw a diary. 'The diary of the Codfather' I was surprised to see it there. Jimmy probaley left it here the last time he was here. No wonder Jimmy hid this here and never told me should I open this?or should I not?no I should not as it will invade his privacy. Curiosity soon over Iwhelmed me, I peered the book open. I read one page that said.

I hope Scott is doing fine. He is low-tempered sometimes and can be mean due to the corruption.I want to help him recover from his corruption. I know there is still humanity in him the 'cold-hearted elf' he is but I know he can change I just know it. I love him but I am not to sure if he likes me back. I wanted to confess to him but I am too nervous.

I put the book down. I was shoked my mouth was agape. Jimmy loves Scott? I soon shut the book close and placed it away. I should not care it was none of my business. I soon went away to get food.

Scott's POV

When I was going to go away from Avery's campsite, I found Jimmy's diary. Without thought I just opened it as I was curious I opened and read it.

I was shocked. He loves me?

A rush of emotions went through me, I now wanted to find him. Where could Jimmy be? I soon started searching around from place to place.During my travels, I found a lit nether portal at the Cod Empire. Maybe he is here? I asked myself. I had a thought then I decided to jump in the portal. I took a deep breath then I jumped in the portal. When I reached on the other side of the portal, I went to look for Jimmy. I saw a hole, I peeped in the hole to see Jimmy sleeping in the hole. Why is he here? I asked myself. I took him and than I carried him, This is soo heavy! I thought to myself. Piglins were chasing me hitting me with their swords. I had a few cuts and injuries but it was fine. I just want to get out of the nether.

Finally after running from the Piglins, I jumped through the portal and reached in the other side of the portal(Cod Empire) I put him down on a bed I help wrap a blanket around him. I then went to the kitchen to make him some soup. After I was done making the soup, I went to the room. His eyelids soon opened "Jimmy, are you awake?" I asked. "Y-yes" Jimmy said shivering. "Here, some soup for you" I said passing him the soup. "Thanks Scott" Jimmy said weakly. He soon started eating the soup. "Scott, I think I have a solution for your corruption" Jimmy suddenly said. "really?" I replied in shock.
