"I'm just going to head out for a bit with Belle. Will you be okay?" Anastasia asks before she wraps her coat around herself and takes out her keys.

At my sister's question I couldn't help but only just stare at her with a perplexed look, my mouth still closed, not being able to utter out a cohesive sentence without stumbling on my words.

"She'll be fine. She has me, we're just gonna watch a film or something." I hear Maddy pipe up beside me before she gives me a warm smile, her arm wrapping around my shoulder whilst Anastasia only nods her head at the answer.

"Cool." Ana replies to my friend before she sets her gaze back onto me. "You sure you're alright Rory? You seem a bit pale."

Opening my mouth to respond I suddenly freeze up again, making it the first time in my whole life that I was nervous to speak to my sister. However once Ana gives me a worried glance I quickly give her a smile to not raise any suspicion.

"Uh yeah I just uh thought we were going to an airstrip that's all, Y'know my surprise?" I question out before I raise an eyebrow, silently judging on how my sister was going to lie to me.

"The airstrip? Oh shit yeah, sorry Rory they had to cancel, apparently it was too windy to show the planes. I uh wanted you to meet some of my colleagues from when I worked there." My sister lies through her teeth giving me another warm smile.

"Oh o-okay."

"Maybe next time?" She quips before she extends her arms to pull me into a hug, a hug which I don't reciprocate however I don't think she notices as she quickly says goodbye to Maddy before leaving.

"I'll tell you one thing, she's a good damn liar." Maddy sighs before she takes a seat on the sofa.

However at my sister's departure I couldn't help but just stand in the same position as before whilst I feel the bile start to rise in my throat.
