"Yes Ana I know." I tell my sister, my phone pressed to my ear whilst I looked at the near empty fridge which now contained three cans of beers and a few condiments.
"I know you can look after yourself Rory but you have a habit of letting other people walk all over you. Belle was telling me that Noah had moved in. Isn't that the same shithead who hasn't talked to you for over two years?" Ana comments before I only sigh at her question.
"Yes b-but he had his reasons! He was just very busy that's all." I reply defeated however I only hear Anastasia scoff at the other end.
"No he's using you Rory and I don't like it. And on top of it all he's bought his god damn fiancé." Ana states before I only frown at her words.
"Look I don't know exactly when I'll be able to come home but it will be soon. And when I do I expect them both to be gone. Besides I saved up enough money for us to move into a bigger place." Anastasia responds before I feel my eyes widen at the news.
"Really?! Are you kidding?" I reply with a gasp.
"Nope. And guess what, it's got a swimming pool too." Ana adds on before I widen my eyes further.
"Ana how much is this going to cost?! I don't think my job can help with the payments." I state with another frown. The only way that Ana and I got the flat we were living in was because our mother had left half of the mortgage we needed before she left.
"Rory don't worry about that. I promised I would look after you and now I can. Things will get better, I promise. Anyway I'm going to have to go now."
"Okay but I still feel bad that you're out there risking your life everyday." I state, saddened by the fact.
"Rory I'll be okay. Don't worry, nothing can kill me, you know that." I hear Anastasia softly tell me.
