Raine's POV

Two months have passed. I have not seen Xavier in these two months. He didn't even miss me. I bottled up all my emotions. I have learned how to control water and air. Today I am going to talk with Jacqulyn.

"Hi Jacqulyn." My voice was very low. "Hai" she snorted at me. Bitch. Okay control yourself Raine. She was the love of our mate. "Do you love Xavier"?

"Of course, we are in love with each other. You are the one middling our love life. Better reject him. We need to start our life." She told me with fanning her painted nails. I want to break those nails.

Anger was pouring over my body. She was pushing the button. "I can't reject him right now. But I will after the war. Jacqulyn, take care of him. He is a child waiting for his love. Shower him with love. I will not interfere with him hereafter".

"Better be." She said and went to the guest room. I was sobbing continuously from the pain. I felt pain all over my body. My bones started to break. I don't know what is happening to me. Am I going to die?

I thrashed the things around me. I heard multiple voices around me. But I felt goosebumps on hearing one voice. Xavier. He was pleading me to open my eyes. But my body didn't listen to his pleading.

Darkness overtook me. "Wake up my child." I have heard this voice somewhere. I blinked my eyes. There the woman with waves was standing in front of me.

"I warned you child. Don't haste things without analyzing deeply. Words and actions can be deceptive. Now leave your stupid thoughts aside. Listen to your heart not your brain. Your mate is missing you Raine. Don't make things complicated. That stupid Jacqulyn has nothing to do with your love."

How did she know about my mate and my problems? "Who are you? How do you know about my problems."?

"Be patient Monza. Time will let you know. Now hear me carefully child. You are going to receive another gift from me. It will cause you pain. But your mate will reduce your pain. Vampires decided to declare the war. Get ready to face the war. Be brave. We will meet in the future." She disappeared after saying this.

Then again, I felt the pain. My bones were stretching towards the end. I felt another pain on my shoulder. I fell due to the pain. My shoulder started to extend backward.

I felt Xavier's presence near me. He was soothingly patting my head. It lessened my pain. I felt piercing pain in my head. When will this pain stop? Something was growing out of the head. After some time the pain stopped.

I was standing on four legs. My whole body has changed. What I am? Am I changed to a werewolf? No that cannot happen right.

Xavier's POV

I was not able to take the pain from her. This hybrid phase. She started to go through her phase. It's difficult for a normal creature itself. She is human. How she will tolerate the pain?

I went near her and patted her head. It will not remove the pain. But it will lessen it. She was changing into something. We were not able to intercept her change.

Finally, she was on her four legs with a hump on her head. Oh my god! Everyone gasped at her creature. "A unicorn". I haven't seen any unicorn in my life span. It's a unique creature. We don't even know what that creature holds the power.

White. Her fur was pure white. Her hair was silky. I had the urge to touch her hair. She was very beautiful. She started to walk towards me. My wolf started to growl inside me. It shouted to me to allow him out. I haven't allowed him out since that day. He started to plead with sorrow voice.

"Allow me once Xavier. Please. I want to touch my mate. Enough of this punishment. I realized my mistake. I will not do it again. I need mate's touch." I have never heard his cry. I was melted with his emotion.

"Raine. My wolf is pleading me to see you. Are you ok with it? He promised me that he will not hurt you." "Monza. Call me Monza. Sure, you can allow him to come. Raine is ok with it"

Then my wolf came out. It went near her slowly. It started to walk around her. He was awed with her creature. He touched her wings with the snout. She let out a moan on his doing. My wolf smirked with his doing. Always a horny animal.

He nudged her body with his leg. "Sorry mate. I shouldn't have marked you without your wish. Shall we go for a run"? She nodded at him and we went for a run. We were breathing heavily due to the run. After a long I allowed him to run. My wolf and Monza started to play like a kid. They were rolling on each other.

"Ok I am going to take over you wolf". He accepted with a whiny face. What, I too want to spend some quality time with her. I looked at my mate with a longing face. I went near her and touched her wing.

No words to express her beauty. She fluttered her wings at me. Will, she able to fly? I have masked my tunnel from her. So, I was not able to read her mind. I decided to give her privacy after my so-called stupid wolf's activity.

She tried to flatter her wings for a long time like she was trying to fly. After a long effort, she started to fly in the sky. Wow I need to freeze this moment. My mate was flying around the sky. Then fluttered and twittered on the sky. She was flying happily.

Then she came to the land. She went behind the tree and changed into a human form. Raine came out with a smile plastered on her face. She came and hugged me. Then I heard the word which I have replayed many times in my dream. "Xavier, I love you."
