Serena POV

Raine got hurt because of me. I shouldn't have left her alone in the pub. But I went to talk with Marcus. He is also an angel. Moon goddess asked him to meet me. There was a rumor that vampires were moving towards the world. They got to know that alpha found his mate. After that everything was chaos in the pub. But now Raine is in safe hands.

"Serena. Please come out of your dreamland. This is the fifth time I am asking. What do you want to eat.?". It's chilling outside. So, garlic pizza and pasta will be good. "How about garlic pizza and pasta. Shall we start to cook"?

"So Raine you know about mate stuff." She blushed at me. For once I can see her smile reached the eyes. "Do you love him".

She was caught off with my question. "I don't know Serena. I am attracted to him. I am feeling safe with his touch. But the question is wrong. Will he love me Serena? He likes me because of the mate bond. But will he love me without it? I am waste. Like my father told I will kill everyone around me. I don't want Xavier to love me. He needs to find a perfect pair for him" She was pouring out her words angrily.

I could see the fire in her eyes. The curtains started to burn with her fire. I don't know what to do. I was astonished at the sight. "Xavier get your so-called body here." He sensed my uneasiness in my voice "What's wrong?". "Nothing wrong. Raine is safe. But she did something MAGICAL.". After telling that I cut off my link.

I used my technique to put out the fire. I looked at her fainted body. She doesn't know how to control her power. I made her sleep on the couch.

"Raine. My mate". Xavier looked at her sadly. He took her in his arms and went to the bedroom. He laid her there carefully. He came out after closing the door.

"What happened Serena". I explained the entire scenario. "So, she found her power. She needs to be trained. Else she will get killed with her power".

Witches are the ones who are well trained in controlling the powers. "Xavier but I don't understand anything. She can't be a witch. Since witches cannot be a mate for an Alpha king. What is she"?

"She can be a hybrid". I was taken back by his reply. Hybrids are special in this world. They are hard to find. I haven't seen a hybrid till now. They have more powers even comparing to alpha. "Time only will tell Serena. But we need to find a promising witch to train her. No one should know her powers".

"How about your sister Xavier". Things are not fine between him and his sister. But she is a good soul to teach her. "She will be perfect for her training. But make sure I don't see her".

"Serena. What happened to me. How I burnt that curtain". We heard noises from the room. We ran to her room. She started to crash all the glasses around her. She was getting tensed again.

"Xavier go and calm her down". He went near her and started to pat her head. Raine was melted from his touch and hugged him. "Xavier, I am a monster. I felt something different. I nearly fired your house. How did it happen.".

"No, you are not a monster mate. And this is your home also. You can do anything with it". He was struggling to explain things. "Raine I am going to tell you something. Be calm and understand the things.". She nodded at him

He made her sit on his lap. "There are two worlds. Sun and Moon. Thousands of years before everything was normal between us. Werewolves, Angel, Demons, and witches belong to the moon. Moon goddess is our god. Vampires belong to the sun. Sun is their god. Vampires tend to drink human blood. Both sun and moon have the same power. Vampires started to attack people in our world for a white diamond. We don't know anything about that white diamond. No one has seen it. Vampires can't defeat us since we are having equal power. But every 1000 years the alpha king will lose his power if we don't find his mate. Vampires are waiting for that moment. "

The room was in pin-drop silence. "But you have found me right. Then you will not lose your power. We can save our people". She became strong now. I thought she would faint from hearing these things. But here she was thinking about the welfare of our people.

"It doesn't work like that Raine. These years they have trained their warriors for this war. It will be difficult for us to defeat them. But the main point is that they will try to hurt you. You are born with some powers. Now you can control fire. But you need to get trained on it. I will not be there to take care of you in the war. And according to the moon goddess, you are the one who is going to save the moon and sun".

"No, you are not a witch. Because witches can't be paired with Alpha king". I told her. She gave me a questioning look. "You may be a hybrid one. Which is unique in our world. They will have more power".

"So, I need to find all those powers and need to get trained on it. And what is a hybrid".

"It's like a combination of two creatures. Now you have found that you can control fire. I think you can able to control the other 2 elements also. But another creature can be a wolf, angel or demon".

"When will I find it". It was Xavier turns to answer her question. I smirked Xavier. "Raine. For that, we need to complete the mating process". He was lucky enough since Raine knew the mating stuff from movies.

Raine turned to a red tomato on hearing this. "But we can wait until you find your powers". On hearing that I laughed at him. Such a pussy cat. "Serena, I think you can give us some privacy". He snarled at me.

"Don't be a jerk, Xavier. Speake nicely to her". I love you Raine for taking my side. I wiggled my eyebrows at him. "See Raine. He is always like this only. My poor heart can't hold it anymore". "Ms drama queen, will you allow me to sleep". I pouted at her and went to my home.
