plenty times
never ending
like a circle of flipping an hourglass
your body shape
made my body
and soul
go through a war
with my own self
not a self destruction
because of your pleonasm (1)
maybe i need me a nepenthe? (2)
but holding on
for your flower to bloom
like a rose
that i keep in my pocket
here
with me
but the best things i've held so
far
are our memories
the beauty of them,
the small things
i wouldn't romanticize before, on my own
in such a laconic way- (3)
the sound of rain
the smell of strawberries
the taste of you
the moon light on your skin
but especially
the light you gave me
through the darkness
i tell the stars about you
before i go to sleep
sleeping while dreaming about you feels like dreams on earth
so does earth
feel like heaven.1. pleonasm
