Chapter 6

The alarm screamed and I jolted up. Ok, ok... not a good way to wake up. I slammed my hand on the off button and moaned lazily. "I'm so groggy..." I mumbled, only half awake. I rubbed my eyes, stood up and stretched. I checked the time on the clock. Six o'clock, I'm good on time. I ran to the bathroom. The only reason I'm hurrying up is so that I can get there early. Why do I want to get there early? Well, so that some random jerk doesn't decide to sit in my seat, and I have to awkwardly ask them to give me my seat back, and then eventually start a class fight or something. I brushed my teeth, brushed my short fluffy blonde hair, and hurried to find my uniform. I tied a bandage around my chest tightly, and just as I was about to get my pants on, in the corner of my eye... I saw myself in the mirror. "HOLY CRAP!" I shouted. I looked at my body. I forgot how built I was as a teenager!!! I flexed in the mirror, doing a motion with my arms, and seeing the creases of my muscles bulge. I looked at myself in amazement. "This is awesome...!" I sighed in bliss. I flexed my abs, seeing the six pack I had. I was holding in my laughter, when I remembered I went to the gym a ton as a kid. Aight, I got the blonde hair, fabulous blue eyes, and the muscles. This could be a manga trope I bet. I chuckled to myself, and continued getting dressed. I had to get these muscles in order to pull off the look of a guy, so fellow delinquents wouldn't find out I was a girl that easily. I can still look feminine of course, but these arms don't lie. I chuckled.

I finished getting changed and packing my bag. I ran outside, locking the door of course. And sprinted the direction to school.

I made it to the huge campus. I had been running the entire time there, so of course I was completely done. I dragged my forearm across forehead, wiping the sweat off. I placed my hands on my knees, hunched over a little, panting and trying to catch my breath. I stood up, stretched my arms, and jogged across the track field. I made it to the entryway, opened the door, and ran through the halls. Thankfully there were no teachers in sight to yell at me for running. I made it to my first class, made my way to the window seat, and plopped down.

"I'm so tired..." I inhaled. I had a water bottle in one of the outside pockets if my backpack, so I chugged it down. I looked at my phone. "Only six twenty? I'm thirty minutes early..." I was debating whether I should take a nap, or just pass the time doodling on one of my notebooks.

I chose doodling. I didn't feel like getting made fun of, so I saved myself the trouble. Some if it, at least.

Holy crap, I didn't realize I was this good at drawing... I held the paper up to get a better view. Was I always this good? I smiled to myself. It looked low key really good.

BANG!

I practically jumped out of my skin. I swung my head up, to look at what that was. "You're early, Yaku-san." My teacher said, and continued walking to the small podium. "Yeah... I'm sure you can understand why." I sighed, using the male voice I worked so hard to perfect. "When I was your age, I did the same thing. I didn't want to start a class fight, so I arrived early." She said, as she organized her school books. "Exactly." I replied. I laid my head down on my arms, that were resting on my desk. I pushed hair back, and fiddled with it a little. I watched the teacher as she organized the books, and got everything set up.

"I'll be back soon." She said, as she walked out the door. Silence. I glanced at the time, and it was 6:45. And theres still no one here? I scratched the back of my neck. But just then, I heard clamor in the halls. Oh, of course I jinx it. Students blasted through the door. Girls, guys, they all were ridiculously loud. I exhaled grimly, and stared out the window, trying to ignore all the noise. I wish I was a twenty five year old woman again... I rubbed my eyes.
