CHAPTER 6: NUMBER ONE
"Really!? You'll join my crew!?"
"I don't have much choice! Now, untie me!!" Zoro demands.
"WHAT IS HE!?"
"Bullets bounce right off him!"
"He's no ordinary human!! He's eaten one of the devil fruit..." Morgan says, clearly pissed off.
"... The secret treasure from those seas!!?"
"NO WAY! So that's his power...?"
"CAPTAIN! H-HE'S UNTYING ZORO!!"
"We'll stop him, you fools!! If bullets can't hurt him, then use your swords!" Morgan yells, encouraging them and so the marines charge forward.
"Unh! These knots are too tight..." Luffy murmurs, as he stumbles with his fingers.
"C'MON! HURRY UP!" Zoro yells at him.
"Just let me do it!" Keiko tells Luffy, who sends her a glare. "Fine! Just tryin' help!" She says, putting her arms up in defeat. At that moment Koby wakes up.
"WHAT!? LUFFY! KEIKO! ZORO!! WATCH OUT!!!"
"There! I untied one of your arms!" Luffy tells them, proudly. "GIVE ME MY SWORDS, MORON!!"
"My gods! Captain! I'll just do it!"
"THOSE WHO DEFY ME MUST DIE!!" Morgan yells. Once the marines get near them, they swing their swords and slash them, or so they thought, when they feel something stop them, they look. Roronoa Zoro stopped all seven swords with his three swords.
"RORONOA ZORO!!!" Morgan says, gritting his teeth.
"WOW! HE'S COOL!!" Luffy says, excited. "Seriously..." Keiko scoffs, impressed.
"The first one who moves... dies." Zoro tells them making them drop sweat right there.
"All right, so I'm a pirate. I gave you my word, I've fought the navy, therefore I'm officially an outlaw... But, hear this!! I have a mission to fulfill!!!" Zoro says, still holding all the swords on his back, nonmoving, and so he looks at Luffy.
"I'm going to be the world's greatest swordsman! All I have left is my destiny! My name may be infamous... But it's gonna shake the world!!!" He tells Luffy, words muffled by his biting sword. "But you are making me become a pirate! So if I have to abandon my dream for any reason... then I'm going to make you commit hara-kiri!!!"
"The world's greatest swordsman, that's great! And it's fitting since your new boss is going to be the King of Pirates! Anything else would make me look bad!" Luffy says, laughing a little.
"Hmph! You talk big..."
"WHY DO YOU HESITATE!!? HACK THOSE BRIGANDS INTO MINCEMEAT NOW!!" Morgan tells the marines.
"ZORO DUCK! Gum-gum..." Luffy starts stretching his leg back and then with all his force sends it forward, kicking everyone. "...WHIP!!!!"
"WOW! He's incredible!" Koby exclaims.
"I wanted to punch them!!" Keiko says, pouting.
"What the devil are you!?" Zoro asks him.
"I'm a... Rubber Man!!" Luffy smiles.
"A RUBBER MAN!?"
"CAPTAIN!! THEY'RE TOO MUCH FOR US!!"
"IT'S HOPELESS! We can't fight a Rubber Man! ... And that demon Roronoa Zoro at the same time!!"
The marines argue, all while looking at both men, Roronoa Zoro with his three swords, and the Straw Hat with his devil power.
"HEAR ME! All you cowards who were whining just now... Will shoot yourselves in the head! I won't tolerate defeatists... In my own outfit!!!" Morgan says, with a sinister voice, walking towards Zoro and Luffy. "ON MY ORDER... FIRE!!" The marines kill themselves as said, the sound making the other turn to see.
