CHAPTER 10: INCIDENT AT THE TAVERN

       The tavern: "The Drinker Pub."

"THE MAP OF THE GRAND LINE IS MINE AGAIN! And we have a new crewmate!! Everything is going our way!!" It could be heard from the inside of the tavern.

"EVERYBODY RAISE A GLASS! Live it up, men! Here's to our next conquest!" Buggy says living up the mood, everyone doing tricks and drinking booze.

"HOORAAY!!!"

"NAMI!!! Are you knockin' em back!?" Buggy asks at Nami, who's drinking along with the other pirates.

"Time for a drinking contest, new girl!!" One of the pirates tells her. "YOU'RE ONE!!" And so they drink and drink, Nami winning.

"I WIN!" Nami smirks.

     While there's partying around the tavern, inside and at the top of it, there's a really pissed off Luffy inside the cage, trying to bite off the bars of it.

"Looks like they're having fun!" Someone tells Luffy.

"That's what a pirate's supposed to do!" Luffy's answer muffled by the bars in his mouth.

"How ya doin' 'boss?'" Nami asks him squatting down in front of him.

"Let me outta here! And get me something to eat! I'm starving!" Nami then without a word gives him some food staying after, hearing him munch on his food.

"Mm, mm! You're not so bad, maybe I'll let you join my crew after all!" He tells her, smiling with food in his mouth.

"NEVER!" Nami shouts at him. "Don't you realize what's going to happen to you!? They'll probably sell you off somewhere. But hey, if my plan works, maybe I'll give you the key to this cage. Really! You don't seen so bad... For a pirate."

"Then let me out of here, NOW!" Nami's about to say something else when their conversation gets interrupted.

"HAHAHAHAHA!!!" Captain Buggy. "You picked the wrong partner, little thief!!" He says, with booze in his hand.

"Partner? She's not my partner!" Luffy says making his eyebrows almost touch.

"Not anymore, eh? Can't blame you! She betrayed you, after all!?" Buggy chuckles at Luffy. "The punishment for trying to steal my treasure is severe! I've already decided what your fate shall be!" He laughs devilish, getting near the cage.

"Are you gonna let me go?"

"That's right, I'm going to let you go- OF COURSE I'M NOT GOING TO LET YOU GO!!" Buggy goes back and tells his pirates. "LOAD THE SPECIAL BUGGY BALLS!!"

"HOORAY!!" The pirates leave what they were doing and start making the preparations.

"Buggy Ball ready, Cap'n!"

"VERY WELL!" Buggy says with a squeal in his voice. "Now for a demonstration... of power!!"

     The pirates move the cannon, facing forward to one of the houses shocking both Nami and Luffy. They lit the thing on, and so once the fire turns off, the cannon shoots., the Buggy Ball passing through all the houses, one after the next, completely destroyed, left to oblivion.

"BREATHTAKING!" Buggy yells proud as to what they did. "That would have leveled a smaller town!!! With these Buggy Balls- and the special powers I got from eating the Devil Fruit- I'll rule the Grand Line!!!" He then turns back to Nami.

"NOW IT'S YOUR TURN, GIRLIE!!" He signals the pirates and they turn the cannon towards Luffy. "Prove your loyalty by blowing your former boss into mincemeat with this Buggy Ball! Show me you're ruthless enough to help me take over the world!" He turns around with his hands open looking at the sky.
