CHAPTER 8: NAMI

"I'M STARVING!" Luffy says.

"Don't you think it's strange that you can't navigate?" Zoro asks him. "No, drifting has worked pretty well for me." Luffy answers.

"Neither can you!?" Zoro asks an almost dead Keiko, laying completely out on the floor of the boat.

"Hey! I'm good at many things!" Keiko says, completely ignoring the question. "So that's a no..." Zoro says, sighing. "Shut up..." Keiko murmurs.

"What about you? You're supposed to be The Holy Terror of the Seas!" Luffy asks Zoro.

"I don't recall ever calling myself that." He says, thinking. "I followed a pirate I was after out to sea, but I couldn't find my way back to my village. So I made the best of things, I went after pirates that were in the area, I had to earn money someone..."

"HMPH! So you got lost?" Luffy asks him. "YOU DON'T HAVE TO PUT IT LIKE THAT!"

"HAHAHA!! Stupid!" Keiko laughs at Zoro, ticking him off.

"Anyway!" He says glaring at Keiko who only laughs more, then turns back to Luffy. "What kind of pirate doesn't know how to navigate a ship? It's ridiculous! At this rate we'll never make it to the Grand Line, we've got to recruit a navigator as soon as possible."

"And we need a cook, and a musician, and-" Luffy starts saying what they need. "THOSE CAN WAIT!!"

"THEY ABSOLUTELY CAN'T! A cook is a must!" Keiko suddenly speaks her mind. And with that thought, they feel their stomach rumbling.

"I'M STARVING!" The three pirates say, falling back in defeat.

"Hey... It's a bird..." Zoro says. "It looks pretty big..." Luffy follows. Keiko gasps, "LUFFY!"

"LET'S EAT IT!!" Luffy looks at her. "YES!!"

"Huh? How?" Zoro asks. "Leave it to me! I'll catch it!!" Luffy grabs onto the ship's mast with both hands. "Gum-gum..." He launches himself up to the sky.

"Woah! Look at him!" Keiko says, excited for the food.

"Okay..." Zoro lets out, surprised. "WHAT!?" He says, as he sees that Luffy's head is inside the birds mouth, taking him away from them.

"Oh no..." Keiko says. "HELP!!" Luffy yells.

"YOU IDIOT!!!" Zoro moves fast, grabbing the oars, rowing towards him. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? DARN YOU!!"

"HAHAHA! PUNCH IT!!" Keiko says yells at Luffy, concerned but still finding the moment funny.

"It's a ship! HEY, WAIT!"

"AHOY!"

"What the-" Keiko says all laughs stopping as she sees some people on the ocean.

"Shipwreck survivors? At a time like this?" Zoro questions. "Zoro...?" Keiko says, gaze going between him and the people in the ocean.

"I can't stop! Just grab them and make them climb in!!" He orders Keiko, her agreeing.

"HEY!!"

"WHAT'D HE SAY!?"

     The boat, passes at the speed of light, almost missing them, Keiko grabbing onto two of them while the other grabs onto the boat, once she helps the two of them, she grabs the other man and puts him inside.

"They've made it! Good!" Zoro says smirking. "Barely!! You lunatic man-" Keiko slaps his arm, sighing as she had to load them.

"Huff huff..."
