That week, the school was out for the holidays. It felt a little strange to not have regular practice, but the break is still welcomed. With the weather getting warmer, Mew's mom's café has gotten busier. Most of his time has been spent helping out during the lunch and dinner rushes.

"Mew! Can you bring this to table 5?" Mew's mom beckoned him.

"Coming!" Mew hollered and picked up the dishes waiting for him at the window and carried them to the nearby table. "Here you are! One seaside special!" He plated the dishes with a smile.

When the bell above the door chimed, Mew turned to see a large group walk in. "Welcome! Please take a seat and make yourselves comfortable. I'll be right with you." Mew ushered them to an empty table with a smile.

"My little minnow? Is that really you?" Max called out to Mew from that group. "Oh, what a beautiful day this is!"

"Truly, it was destiny for us to meet again." Korn came to his twins' side with a smile.

"Seeing as our meeting is fated, surely this means you wish to join our club now, yes?" Max asked Mew, agreeing with his twin.

Mew scoffed internally. These guys have the audacity to talk to him after how they abandoned him and Earth the last time. He needed to diffuse this before they bother the other customers.

Giving the twins the biggest fake smile he could muster, Mew gestured to an empty corner. "There's plenty of seata there. Please make yourselves comfortable, and I'll come back with some water."

"You work here?" Max squealed loud, gaining attention from other customers, "To be served by my prince.. I didn't think this day could get any better."

Mew lost his cool and grumbled, "And I have a right to kick you out if you keep being a nuisance!"

The twins and the rest of their group quickly quiet down and went to the corner table. As promised, Mew brought them all some water.

"So, about joining our club.." Max looked up at Mew, only to be cut off by the said male. "I'm sorry, I'm not in the habit of talking about extracurricular activities while I'm on the clock." Mew gave a fake smile.

"Besides, if your recruitment tactics didn't work on me the first time.. what makes you think they'll work this time?" He shook his head and glanced at the others in the group, "Is everyone ready to order?"

Max looked at Mew with an unreadable expression then he smiled the next second, "I think we are!"

"We'll have two melon soda and three iced coffee please.." Korn chirped.

"..And ramen!" Max added.

Korn looked at his twin with raised brow, "Really? With how hot it is, you want ramen?"

"But, I'm hungryyy.." Max whined at his twin.

Korn threw his hands in the air, "Alright, I won't question you."

"And can I have a side of pickles?" Max smiled at Mew.

Mew side eyed Korn shaking his head at his twin and  started chatting with his other friends. 'I should follow his brother's example and just not question Max's sanity.'

"Yes, of course." Mew said, writing the orders in a note pad. "Ramen with a side of pickles, two melon soda and three iced coffee." He reiterated to confirm. "Will that be all?"
