"Hindi ba ninyo alam na darating ako?" Tanong ni Mrs. Semiha.
"Alam po namin, we just didn't know that you were coming today so this is some kind of a surprise for all of us." Thirdy explained.
She looked around.
"From my professional point of view, this office doesn't look good, it doesn't seem to be in a good position, to be honest. There are serious management problems."
"Are you basing this on the documents that you have studied?"
"Pardon if I have offended you but since we are now partners, we have to be honest with each other, don't you think?"
"What do you have to say about honesty?" Singit ni Bea.
"Bea?" Thirdy called her. He knew umminit na ulo nya and he needs to calm her down.
Bea didn't listen.
"Hindi bata ang mga nasa harapan mo!"
"I have decided na mag invest sa company na ito plus I get to spend a lot of time with my granddaughter."
"What are you talking about, Mrs. Semiha?" She was outraged and saying a lot of things. (a/n actually diko naintindihan pero andami bwahahaha)
Thirdy held her trying to stop her.
"Halika muna, ilalabas muna kita." Thirdy told her softly.
"What? Di mo ba nakikita ginagawa nya?"
"You need some fresh air, lika sumama ka muna sa akin."
Thirdy excused himself and took her out, dinala nya sa isang meeting room.
"Did you notice how you reacted? Sa lahat ng tao sa opisina, hindi dapat ganun." Thirdy started.
"You expect me to be calm, in my grandmother's presence. Hindi mo alam kung gaano sya kadelikado kasama, she's dangerous!"
"Okay, okay. Can you please calm down. Si Jigs nakakatrabaho mo for how many months, hindi mo ba nakita pangalan nya sa mga documents?"
"What? What are you insinuating?"
"Hindi ko sinasabi na may alam ka dito, what I'm trying to say is wala ka ba nakitang even the slightest hint na ang secret partner ni Jigs ay ang Lola mo."
"Wala! Wala sa kahit na anong document ni Jigs ang pangalan nya or any other name for that matter. Kung nakita ko na un noon, palagay mo ba this will happen today? " Di pa din humuhupa ang galit ni Bea. "Ano, akala mo ba I'm trying to take away your company? Wala ka tiwala sa akin, ganun ba?"
"Bea, I've never trusted anyone as much as I trust you. Nobody. I surrendered to you. Now, stop being stubborn at kumalma ka na. Pag usapan na lang natin how we can work this out and understand ano ang hinaharap natin."
"Then let me go and talk to her."
"Hindi kita pwede pabayaan in that state! This is exactly what she wants. Malamang ngayon masaya sya na nag aaway tayo because of her. So I need you to calm down, okay?"
"Okay, okay."
"Magpapadala muna ako ng kape. Umupo muna tayo dito at mag usap."
Mayamaya lang dumating na ung coffee na inorder ni Thirdy from their pantry. Natawa si Bea when she looked at the cup sleeve.

"Kung makikita mo lang kung gaano kaganda ngiti mo." Thirdy said. "Dapat ganyan ngiti mo pagbalik natin sa loob."
"Hindi mo narerealize ung lala ng situation? Partner mo na ang Lola ko."
"Alam ko, I realize that and I don't care. Pwedeng andito din sya para maghiganti. Gusto nya ako mabankrupt and ruin my life, I don't care, she won't succeed kaya kumalma ka lang. I won't let her."
Bea stood up.
"I will talk to her." She said.
"Kumalma ka muna. Sasamahan kita."
"No, I will do this on my own."
"Fine, andito lang ako." Thirdy assured her. "In awhile, uuwi ako, I'll see you there."
Pagdating nya sa office ni Thirdy, andun sa loob ang lola nya.
"Ano ang plano mo?" Bea started.
"Gusto ko ma improve and relationship nating dalawa, you're my only granddaughter so dapat lang na maayos tayo."
"That's not going to happen so mas mabuti pa umalis ka na lang. I know what you're up to and I'm telling you, you're not welcome her. Sinira mo ang pamilya ko!"
"Ako? This company did that to you or are you too blinded to realize because of Thirdy Ravena?"
"I don't have to explain to you."
"The fate of this company, Thirdy and his family in in your hands. Kung itutuloy mo ang kung ano ang meron sa inyo ni Thirdy, I'll turn this company and his life upside down. You know how I can severely punish Thirdy."
"What are you talking about? Gusto mo ikaw ang pipili kung sino gugustuhin ko? Sino ka, who are you to decide that for me?"
"Once you get to know him, makakalimutan mo ang kahit ano about Thirdy, him and your feelings for him. Trust me."
"You won't do to me what you've done to my father. I will not let you!"

After Bea confronted her Lola, dumerecho sya kay Thirdy as instructed.
"Pizza?" Bea asked him as he opened the door.
"Hindi ako mahilig sa pizza."
"Baka pag si Nika nagorder."
Tumawa si Thirdy.
"Halika na."
"What are you doing?" Bea asked.
"Magsshave sana. Ano nangyari?"
"She came because of me, wanted to make amends. Thirdy, I was thinking-"
"What?"
"Kung umalis ako sa company, baka may magbago, umalis sya."
Thirdy nodded, "It's funny how you can easily give up on me."
"I didn't mean it that way."
"Maybe I misunderstood you, ewan ko. I'll shave tapos pwede na tayo umalis."
Thirdy went to his room, naiwan si Bea sa sala. She went to Thirdy's book cabinet at kinuha ang favorite book ni Thirdy at tiningnan ung picture nila from their fake engagement na ginawang bookmark ni Thirdy.
She stared at the picture, he thinks I want to be afraid of him, thinks that I can refuse. In this life, the very last person I can refuse is him. He doesn't know how much I love him. How will I win his heart? If you love, go talk. This is so obvious.
She closed the book and went to where Thirdy is.
"Okay, I admit it was a very bad idea. Hindi na ako aalis."
"Until when? Until a new problem appears?"
"No." She said as she took the razor from Thirdy. "Until you get tired of me."
Thirdy cleared his throat.
"Hindi ako masaya where we are at." Bea said.
"Bea, remember, in the past before you came, it was just all work. You came and touched my heart, madaming nabago sa akin tapos biglang mong hihilaan ung kamay mo sa puso ko. Without you, it was hard living everyday. Bea, it doesn't matter how heavy life is, ung pagdating ng Lola mo and all. If your hand is on my heart, then I'm ready for anything."
"Okay. Whatever happens, we will survive them all together."
"We will enter the New Year together. New year, new beginnings."
