When Bea came home from work andun na ang Lola nya sa bahay nila. Gigi said that she has just decided to move in with them.

Bea was so furious that she went to her room. Sinundan sya ni Gigi.

"I can't stay here, Tita, masisiraan ako ng ulo. Bukas na lang ako babalik, aalis muna ako."

"Okay, okay. Kanina ko pa sinabi sa kanya ayaw naman nya umalis."

"Tita, New year na bukas, we can't start a new year kung andito sya."

"Sige, ako na bahala sa kanya, bukas bumalik ka dito ah, magcecelebrate tayo."

She knocked on Thirdy's door.

"Pasok ka." Thirdy said as he invited her in.

"Hindi ako magtatagal, Lola moved in with us. She's crazy kaya di mo kailangan sya galangin or to be polite with her." She said as fast as she can.

Natawa si Thirdy.

"Calm down."

"Dun muna ako kay Maddie. I just came to tell you something."

"Okay, sige, pumasok ka muna magusap tayo."

"No, I won't. Sasabihin ko sa'yo dito."

"Sige."

"Thirdy, listen, we can't be together. It's not going to work. Eventually maghihiwalay din tayo so might as well ngayon na. Paghihiwalayin lang tayo ng Lola ko, she won't stop until mangyari un."

"Bea, stay here."

"What?"

"Stay here tonight."

"Thirdy, I'm telling you we can't be together tapos sasabihin mo sa akin to stay with you tonight?"

"We won't spend the New year together so might as well, stay the night."

Natawa si Bea.

"Okay, I'll stay."

Thirdy took her luggage.

Bea went to the the stargazing telescope.

"Matagal na akong hindi tumingin sa mga stars."

Thirdy stared at her.

"Thirdy, titingin tayo ng star." She said while pointing at the telescope.

"I'm looking at the star now."

Thirdy stood up at inalalayan nya si Bea sa pagtingin ng stars, he was behind her. She took his hand.

"Thank you, Thirds, despite all the problems, andito ka."

"Palagay ko mas mabuti isipin mo kung ano pwede natin gawin sa New Year."

Thirdy's phone rang.

"Sino naman kaya yan?" She asked.

"Si Anton malamang."

Thirdy picked up his phone and scoffed. Napakamot sya ng ulo nung makita nya sino tumatawag. Humarap sya kay Bea pag sagot nya.

T: Yes, Nika.

Pagkarining pa lang ni Bea ng pangalan, agad syang lumapit kay Thirdy.

N: Hello, sir. Are you free? Tatanong ko lang kasi if you have plans for the New Year.

Bea turned on the speaker on his phone.

B: Have you decided, Sir Thirdy?

Bea interfered in a small voice but made sure Nika heard it.
