1 month later, the mission training still goes on and Bradley and the other cadets trained hard than ever before, to prepares themselves for the worse, in a couple of months. One day, after waking up and getting ready for morning training, Chris and Nick makes an announcement for them all.
"Morning, cadets.", Chris greeted. "Morning, Sarge.", the cadets greeted at the same time. "Today is going to be very different today, because today will be a relaxing day off from training, so no training today. Since you all trained and worked so hard, Captain Wilde, Major Sutherland and I are all treating you to a day trip to the beach in Montara.", Chris smiled.
Everyone is so happy that they finally deserve a day off from training and get to go to the beach. "Okay, head back to your rooms and get changed out of your uniforms and into your swimwear, because the bus leaves in 10 minutes, so get going, cadets.", Chris smiled, as everyone gets up from their seats and sprint to their rooms, to change out of their uniforms and into their swimmers.
Everyone, gets onboard the bus that takes them and they all head off to Montara, and during the whole bus ride, everyone would sing along to songs playing in the bus radio, but Bradley mainly just kept staring at Leanne, who is sitting further away from him.
After almost an hour drive, they all arrive to Montara and end up at Grey Whale Cove State Beach, which is one of most beautiful beaches in California. After settling onto the beach, all of the boys took off their shirts, and in board shorts and the girls in bikini tops and short shorts, and Chris and Nick set up a game of volleyball in the sand.
Chris acts as the referee, and divide two teams. Bradley, Leanne, Shane, Bryan and Mateo in one team and Drew, Sarah, Reed, Jason and Hawk in the other team, whilst Nick acts as the fouler. Everyone plays against each other and most of Bradley's team got most points.
During one of the games, Leanne runs to catch the ball, when she suddenly bumps and falls on top of Bradley, who fell on his back. "Ooh!", everyone cried, as Bradley and Leanne falls onto the sand. "Sorry.", Leanne smiled. "It's ok.", Bradley smiled, as he and Leanne looks at each other for a while, as they felt something in each other, before the moment is interrupted by Nick and Shane, who helps them up, before they resume the game.
Eventually, Bradley's team won the game, and he and his team cheers during their victory. "We did it!", Leanne cried, as she suddenly jumps into Bradley's arms with joy, surprising him, as he catches her, once she wrap her arms and legs around his neck and waist. "Oh!", he cried, as he catches her.
They share a laugh, before looking at each other for a while, but they later snap out it, as everyone is watching them, and Leanne quickly jumps off of him and it became awkward for both of her and Bradley. After a long game of volleyball, Chris and Nick cooks a BBQ lunch for all of the cadets and during this whole time, Bradley and Leanne looks at each other, thinking of what happened between them.
At sunset, Bradley and the cadets left Montara, after a long day at the beach and return to the Army Base. That night, Bradley is lying in bed, thinking about the moment when Leanne bumped and fell right on top of him during the volleyball game and when she jumped on him after winning. He is yet confused about it, what does it meant for him and Leanne.
Meanwhile, Leanne is at room, in her own bed, thinking about the same thing. She is also confused. "What happened out there? Am I falling for O.C. Carter?", Leanne asked herself.
