CHAPTER 5: Twin Horns

Arthur Leywin POV

It has been around three months since I reunited, or rather met, Dawn. There was nothing noteworthy happening since then. My life remained the same, working on my core and mastery over dawn, spending time with my family, and training with Ellie and Lilia

The only notable changes were that I started helping Sylvie to unlock Realmheart and that I went back on trying to figure out the last rune, well it's still just a cube but I am working on it, that I got from the Relictombs

Sylvie still hasn't unlocked the Realmheart but she is close, I can feel it. Her influence over aether has also grown stronger, so now her healing abilities are close to the level of lady Myre, and that is impressive you know, it means that she is one of the best healers even among Indraths and Asuras. We also decided that I will teach her mirage walk and burst step once we go to the beast glades

When it comes to the djinn relic or simply cube, I was unable to make any progress. No matter how much aether I poor in it I couldn't make any progress at all. The only clue that I have is that it is somehow related to mana, and even that is only thanks to Caeras help during the Victoriad 

'But what now? What should I do in order to understand this stupid cube?'

' Oh I don't know, why don't you, maybe, try to poor in both MANA AND AETHER you dumbass?!' irritated Regis shouted in my head

Once that realization hit me, my face was stuck in one of the dumbest positions ever

' Regis... are you a genius?' I asked him with sparkles in my eyes

' I am, but you are just an idiot'

' master...'

' Papa... are you dumb?'

'...'

' shut up!' I shouted and turned to the other side

I pulled out a cube from my dimension rune and started to fill it with aether and mana. Unlike the usual void that filled it, now it was full of lively colors. Green particles were dancing around like a wild wind that would be destroyed once they came into contact with solid and hard brown particles. Blue particles were flowing around in fluid motion while red particles raged around with the sole purpose of destroying anything that come in their path. It was a display of perfect harmony like nature should be. Then new particles appeared, the purple particles, aether 

It just stood there between different mana particles, not moving at all, as if it was keeping it all together. That's when I remembered what lady Myre told me when she was teaching me about aether

' This world is like a cup filled with water. Aether would be a cup and mana is water...'

I felt a burning sensation on top of my eyes which brought me out of the colorful void. The moment I opened my eyes the cube has turned into dust

' puahahahaha!!! Now you really look like a princess!' Regis shouted at the top of his voice

*giggle* I heard Sylvie giggling from the corner of the room

' I-it's not like I like how you look like now stupid master' Dawn was the last to comment anything

I was confused about what might they be talking about so I went to the window and take a look at myself. My looks stayed the same, the only difference being that my eyes had an even stronger purple glow when I use the Realmheart. No, they weren't just glowing stronger, they were pulsating like they had a life of their own. Thinking about it for a moment I came to three conclusions 

1. This purple glow is actually a new rune

2. Rune and Realmheart are somehow connected

3. My Realmheart felt stronger than ever
