'what's all this?' Noble asked Sarah.

' some prison burnt down, and people think the prisoners did it.' Sarah explained, matter-o-factly.

' thanks for the recap, i can read Sherlock.' Noble said, trying to get a reation from her. She only sighed, and began taking pieces of newspaper and shoved them into her sweater pocket.
'If we are going to figure out what that thing is, we need to know where to go.' Sarah said, growing impatient with Nobel. He looked up at some of the clippings she had left, one said, Man invents robotic body to insure the safety of local prisons, but skeptics say- the clipping had been cut there. Growing more and more interested in the story of this "being", he hardly noticed the squeaks and groans coming from behind him.

' Noble! Turn around!' He heard Sarah yell. Turning around, he saw the creature, it's one purple eye socket fixed on him. He backed up, until his back met the wall. Sarah picked up a small barrel, and threw it at the creature. It landed inches from it, but made the loudest sound Nobel had ever heard. The creature, surprised by the sound, crouched. Using this as a distraction, he jumped around it with great speed, and agility. He ran towards Sarah, and when he reached her, he pushed her out of the door. They both ran, and not seeing their bikes in the mist of rain, excitement, and fear, tripped over Sarah's. He felt weightless. He was flying for what felt like hours, but was only seconds. He hit the ground on his knees and hands. Sharp pain followed, as the coarse dead grass dug into him. Standing out of reflex, he turned and grabbed his bike, that was lying near Sarah's. He ran with it, and jumped on. Looking back, he saw Sarah close behind. He began pedaling as fast as he possibly could. He pedaled for what felt like forever, hearing squeaks and moans of the un-oiled creature. They pasted his house, with the tree he had always climbed, when there was nothing better to do. He passed the garage of his home, the same in he had jumped off of, so many years ago. The sun was climbing higher in the sky, and was at their backs, beating down on them throughout the dark clouds. Then, they reached the edge of the feild, at a small Amarillo chain link fence. He had no clue what to do, if he stopped, the creature would surely make killing him, quick work. But as the fence neared, Sarah came up from behind him, she placed her feet on the seat of her bike, and lunged over the fence, in a matter of seconds. Amazed, he ran into the fence, scrambling over it as fast as he could. He landed on his side, the blow knocking the wind out of him. Sarah grabbed his hand and hoisted him up. He took off running the second he was up. They were at the edge if a small town, full of small stores and gift shops. They came near a store on his right, and he reached over and grabbed Sarah's arm, and pulled her over, then ducked the both of them through the door. Panting he looked at her. Her hair was plastered to her head, and her face and arms were red with exhaustion.

' some bike ride..' Sarah said, between exasperated breaths.
'Yea....-' He said, looking around at confused faces of customers and employees, ' some bike ride.'
