Here are some altered rules to Town of Salem. They may or may not occur, so don't anticipate these events!
- Stationary roles (veteran, medium, etc.) are allowed to visit houses like any other role, but they do nothing. They are not confined to their house the whole game.
- The veteran may shoot the visiting jailor, but does not have to shoot every person who visits them.
- The vigilante will not necessarily commit suicide from guilt if they shot a town member.
- Sometimes when visiting, people are not home.
- Jailor must convince the suspect to come into the house, it is not a guaranteed lock-up.
- Blackmailer speaks through the house phone to tell a town member not to speak the next day. If this is disobeyed, mafia will be given an additional kill.
- Consort may distract in any way they wish, as long as they succeed in keeping the person occupied for the entire night.
- The bodyguard does not need to die when defending, and does not need to kill their attacker. The bodyguard does not have an option to self-vest, they always have the option to fight.
- Spy results are fallible, except for bugs.
- Lookout's and sheriff's results are fallible.And most importantly...
A big of part of winning is skill, not just who the person chooses to visit. For example, if Person A is mafia and visits Person B to kill, but they are not strong enough to kill Person B, they fail. It is not a guaranteed kill.
Enjoy!
